He's no different than any mullah, the Ayatollah or any Taliban out there. I've been following this issue for 25 years...Slobo tried to use the church all through his time...a little unknown fact is when he went to Hilandar to take those pictures with him there...the Monks fled the Monastery because, he and his wife were Communist Atheists ...it was the Civilian Police that went and found the Abbott...brought him back and made him show slobo around...another interesting fact is when slobo arrived in Hilandar ,the copter landed in their Vegetable garden...destroying their Crops...the Monastery had no food for the winter...and one of the Elders Said at the time,"that's what that man will do to his people"..Patriarch Pavle was also beaten up by Albanian youth for being a Christian...and Pavle made sure the youths were set free and not imprisoned...one other thing your not aware of is Kosovo and Metocia is owned by the Serbian Orthodox Church ...it was given to them by one of the Serbian Rulers...the Communists took the Church property away and gave it to Surprise ..."The Albanians"...and That is Why its considered Holy Land ! Tito just had died and the church started to take over: Catholics in Croatia and Herzegovina, the Orthodox in Serbia and Srpska. Like everywhere on the world where religion tries to gain political influence, Human kind is set back by these conservative preachers, hanging on dreams and contexts related to the times that lay soooo far behind. History and religion is not legitimating any 'possession' or claim on a certain region. That would be the real opening of Pandora's box.
