Jeremić: Kosovo will join UN over my dead body

Pointless words, makes no sense! Even the most stupid Albanian politician in Kosovo knows that an application for UN membership has no chance at all to pass the UNSC due to Russia (and China too, probably). So why should they even try and eventually being rejected?

"Over my dead body" is not a very intelligent statement. If the powers that be wanted Kosovo in the UN they would not hesitate for a moment to kill hundreds or even thousands of people. But the situation right now is that even western and countries NATO countries are backing of from supporting Kosovo independence. Only prestige stops the US itself from withdrawing support. That is the reason Kosovo will never join the UN. It has nothing to do with Jeremic's body.

Trust me the feeling is mutual that it sucks that Vuk Jeremic is now president of U.N. or is at least awaiting his new career at U.N. headquarters all because he may or he will do basically whatever it takes to spoil Kosovo's chances at having a "seat" in the U.N. Are there any pro-independence Kosovar nationals residing anywhere in U.S.A. or at least in New York City planning to protest Jeremic's intentions outside the United Nations headquarters? Yet I wonder if a potential protest or demonstration will have an influence on certain U.N. officials.

I would have used other words...

But the fact remains: Kosovo is not a state but a province. And provinces cannot join UN.

If Kosovo wants to try, well do so. Russia and China will veto you for sure!

There isn't much Albanians are good at, but killing is one of them. Don't say dead body in relation to anything related to Albanians for they would make it happen. Thank god I don't have any of them near me.

In the West, an extreme form of passive aggression exists in interpersonal and especially official communication. People, and especially politicians, lie because of this all the time, but the only thing that counts is whether they "appear" to be fair, non-biased etc.

It doesn't matter if their subsequent actions show that they in fact are biased liars, that's irrelevant, what's important is that they "appear" to be perfectly fair, impartial etc.
He failed a huge test of Western hypocrisy, pardon, "diplomacy" and I wouldn't be surprised if he is removed from his position.

Seems like Vuk never herd of IMF and World Bank. Kosova is a member of both.I hoppe while presiding over UN , Vuk speaks only about Serbian policy and before you know it, he will be kicked out of UN before his term expires. I don't think he knows the rules and regulations of his position at UN.

He has to somehow justify his $2.9 million budget for one year. Why not use Kosovo as a justification. It has worked for all the serbian politicians in the past...ridiculous!
