"EU membership is Serbia’s strategic goal"

So as everyone has said and now a country that has not recognized Kosovo states.
Recognition is not a requirement for joining the EU but having good relations with Kosovo IS.
Now all Serbia has to do is figure out how they can have good relations with Kosovo while still claiming to own it.

So sad that Serbia is in similar position as Cyprus and that everyone supports them and no one us. And after all, western politicians cant understand why Serbs are supporting Russia and Greece no matter what happens. They can recognize Kosovo but Republika Srpska cant be independent. I m just saying this is frozen conflict.

I agree, all that is essential if Serbia is to join the EU. Thank God EU membership is not of life and death necessity the last two members (who are also the most similar to Serbia's situation) Bulgaria & Romania has not seen any benefits to the EU. The farmers in these countries cannot compete with all the Western imports and people in Romania are still jumping off ledges to commit suicide. Welcome to EU paradise.

So we hope for Kosovo, for Republika Srpska for Cyrillic and for an independent economy...our entire political system collapses before Serbia is even allowed to join the EU.

This is why I say the biggest enemy of Serbia are the Serbs themselves. Because there is rarely an agreement, a consensus and unity. We have done more to hurt ourselves than the cockroaches in Pristina or the 4th Reich in Brussels. Long as morons like Nikolic, Tadic, Canak ect. are even allowed to be walking the street and not in a jail cell..we will stay losers.

Cyprus guarantees that there will be new conditions for EU membership.
