Perhaps if there had been a few Junior Ministries, or Ministers assisting the Minister positions, then the accommodating some of Political Parties like PUPS, can have more Representation in Government, and gain the Experience they need become Ministers in a future Government.

I meant to write in my other comment: While it is true that PUPS because of their number of Mandates should be entitled to one Ministry if there is sufficient Talent, Experience, and Competence; however, the question is why have they waited all this time to announce it in Public rather than to their Coalition Partners, and why were they happy not to participate in the Negotiations, which was their Responsibility to their Voters to do?

I realized that I should have said that the number of those who support the Minority Government and who are not part of the Minority Government, plus the number of those in the Minority Government, is an overall Majority in Parliament.

If a Minority Government can enjoy the Confidence of the Parliament, and if it can pass its Taxation and Spending Programs unamended, then it is as Legitimate and Stable as a Majority Government, but for any part the rest of the Minority Government’s Agenda, they will have to seek enough support from other Political Parties to secure a Majority Vote in Parliament.

No, he thinks he could use it for Afghanistan - they have a similar clan based society where former warlords try to become more power in the new state. So experience from Kosovo can surely be helpful - as an example how NOT to make it if you want to create a democratic state:)

New Goverment deserves chance. It is good news that SNS and NS offered important public functions to people who are not members of SNS and NS. It is a good sign which shows that Aleksandar Vucic does not think only about his own party but on prosperity of all citizens.

Adem, Serbia is indeed jealous of such an advanced clan based political system that albanians enjoy. Keep it in the family and it's not even incest! I've read that Gordon in Pristina wants albanian expertise to help improve america's political system.

I do not know if a Minority Government is Constitutional for Serbia, but if it is, then this is how it works.

A Political Party or a Coalition of Political Parties who form Government, but do have a Majority of Mandates is a Minority Government.

They will need the support of another Political Party or other Political Parties in the Parliament to ensure that the Minority Government does not suffer a No Confidence Motion, and that the Minority Government’s Taxation and Spending Programs are allowed to pass unamended in the Parliament.

On all other issues, those who support the Minority Government can Vote how they want in the Parliament.

It is about time to form a government in Serbia, whoever constitutes it. The behavior of the PUPS is unacceptable and they should be politically punished for trying to sabotage everything in the last minute.
And for real, a pensiners party... it is absurd.

The Pensioners Party said that it did not take part in the Negotiations, learning instead about the distribution of Portfolios from the Media.

The Question is why did the Pensioners Party not participate in the Negotiations, and why were they so distant that they had to learn it from the Media, rather than the SPS or JS, or another Coalition Partner?

Could it be that PUPS is a Tadic Ally, and a spy for the DS that Tadic influenced in the previous Government, and they were trying for a new Election, and will PUPS say either truthfully or falsely that not enough has been done for Pensioners, and will PUPS join the DS Alliance at the next Election?

While it is true that PUPS is to a least one Ministry, the question is why have they wanted all this time to announce it, and why were they happy to not participate in the Negotiations, which it was their Responsibility to their Voters to do?

These and possibly other questions are questions that the SPS and the JS are in the best position to know the answers.

In new Oblast political system of Belgrade, small men do clown acting before media, while "Mehmet Pasa Putin" pulls strings in Kreml.
Modern state politic too difficult for serbian people, return to basic peasant life not so stressful.
