And I stand corrected, in formality. The UN does not determine sovereignty of states as per its charter. But the UN has agreed to a status neutrality in the case of Kosovo to not refer to it as a state nor a province.

Correct, the UN can only recognize Kosovo as a UN member state when there's a consensus in the UNSC amongst the permanent members(veto powers), because it is the panel that proposes new members to the general assembly.

Nikolić on Tuesday commented on the visit to say that Ban wished to travel to Kosovo, while Kosovo "is not a member of the UN".

"wished" , Sounds like Ban would like to visit Kosova , but not sure whether Serbia would grant his wish!? How dumb Nikolic is?

"Serbia is still considering how to respond to the challenge of the visit to Kosovo. Now all of Serbia should stand and he must declare himself about whether he was going there to visit UN representatives, or to Kosovo as an independent state," said the president, and added:

Maybe you can have your football fans do the lynching , bc , he is going to Kosova without your permission.

Anyway, I got news for you guys; Ban is touring Balkans and rest assured he will visit Prishtina and meet with Kosova government.

"All of Serbia", "unanimous", etc.

This is the rhetoric of the troublemaker who challenged President Tadiq, while he was in power, and now he's retreating to the center (centrist). I believe you are an elected official of the people, don't you represent ALL OF SERBIA? Of course now you're discovering that talk is cheap, to you there is no "win" solution to your "Kosovo issue" and thus prefer being non-committal and engage in accountability sharing.

What a farce, oh that tadiq, what a bad president he was, all his hardwork was erased by your anti-srebrenica comment.

Sincerely,

And the answer is.

And the answer he will get is that UN operates in a status neutral framework. The UN cannot recognize Kosovo as a sovereign country unless it has a consensus. But it also does not recognize it as a Serbian province either. Thus "status neutral" ironically by Serbian insistence.

Wonder if Serbia is planning to hold him hostage and prevent him from traveling to Kosovo?
