President discusses Tadić's gesture, new govt., Kosovo

I really do wish politicians would tell the truth. I used to work as a civil servant in Government in the UK. Nothing happens by accident. President Nickolic will have known exactly what Tadic was going to do with Thaci. This choroegraphed meeting was probably discussed and agreed with Brussels, Belgrade, Zagreb and others even the Americans will have probably encouraged it during their recent visit. The Queen of England recently shook the hand of the former head of the Irish Republican Army (IRA)even though they murdered one of her relatives in the late 1970's. If she can do it why can't any Serbian Politician. I actually think this is a brave thing to do. I hope it results in more political movement.

With all the killings I have to say Kosovo is going too aggressive. However the Serbians went 1 million times more aggressive in the Kosovo War.

What goes around comes back around. I dont think that the people deserve this thing, however think about what Serbia did to Kosovo.

It was about time! Serbian and Kosovar Albanian Officials needs to talk and reason with eachother.

Nickolic does not want Thaci in the goerment of Kosovo at all not because Thaçi comited crimes but because Thaci is very clever and strong politician, before Nickilic open his mouth, Thaçi can give him the answer so no wonder Nickolic tries to stay away from strong opponent.

As was pointed out by Nikolic and other politicians, it was Tadic that decided that Serbia shouldn't take part in international meetings where Kosovo has representatives. I wonder if he made that policy so that he could use it to his advantage one day, like maybe today, and to eventually try to convince Serbs that they should recognise Kosovo's "independence". He says, "Our problem with Kosovo has limited our participation in the international forums", which is not true, it is Tadic decision that the Serbian government shouldn't attend conferences where Kosovo is represented that has "limited our participation in the international forums". Serbia can continue to have a problem with and refuse to accept Kosovo's independance and still attend those meetings.

His behaviour and statements reveal that people's suspicions about that puppet are true.

Nikolic can only go as far as the border of Kosovo. When he gets there he has to make full stop and seek permission to enter Kosovo. The entire world knows that its NATO troops that keep Serbia at bay otherwise Serbian tanks would be rolling to the Albanian border within hours. Serbia is being forced to negotiate rather than genuinely looking to solve the issue. Hence there will never be any peace towards Serbs and Albanians because as soon as one side gets a chance they will revenge on the other side. Today is the Albanians. Tomorrow might be the Serbs. So the vicious cycle continues.

So this clown doesn't want to shake hands with my Premiere because according to him PM Thaçi is being accused by some ass clown (dick marty). It wasn't weeks ago that this SAME clown was shaking hands with "tycoons" in belgrade.

It would be very interesting if after Lithuania put in for UNGA president and was unopposed until at the last moment Serbia(or Jeremic) says I want it. Then he went all over the globe to campaign, and refused anytype of compromise. Then suddenly Serbia says we cannot afford it give it to someone else.
At first I thought Jeremic received a salary from the UN but after looking at the UN Charter, it turns out that his salary is determined by Serbia as it is up to Serbia to pay it.
So if Jeremic wants to keep his prestigious position he may have to suck it up and not have a free ride.

Your point is well taken, however, there are numerous variables to this equation. For example, will the Nato countries be willing to fight for the US? Will the world support another bombing of Serbia? The eventual collapse of the EU? Most of all,how far are the Russians willing to support the Serbs? Finally, in some political circles in the US, they are questioning if they have actually bombed the wrong side.

Read Tolstoy to show how civilized Serbs where after WWI in Kosovo and Rankovic from 1945 to 1999, Serbs are in no shape to through word civilized around. The Killing last weekend is unforgettably even and we need to give process a chance.

Also Serbs north need to stop Killing Police and blow up people during the night that only causes more animosity and they in retrospect put in danger 110K Serbs south for benefit of 40K north.

I hope in September political meeting will start and solution will be found where Serbs can feel not threaten even after what they have done and both sides have to let it go it is clear that this account of past makes for good historian but not good neighbors.

SERBS nned to learn to deal with loss like Hungarians lost Vojvodina today is majority Serbs and they live in peace. ALBANIANS need to let past go and show Serbs how its to be ruled and treat them like a Minority in EUROPE.

Always remember that Kosovo has to survive somehow and its dependent on Serbia, and please no crap about joining with Albania as it can barely stand without the burden of Kosovo, you have to come back like it or not.

With all the killings I have to say Kosovo is going too aggressive. However the Serbians went 1 million times more aggressive in the Kosovo War.

What goes around comes back around. I dont think that the people deserve this thing, however think about what Serbia did to Kosovo.
