first of all a little hint for "Berk":

standing on the side of international law, having justice, moral and history on one´s side has nothing to do with being right-wing oriented.

as an Albanian you certainly won´t understand the difference, but just in case some non-albanian reader should have read your comment with your childish "LOL" and pseudo-sarcasm... it is always a good opportunity to show off with what kind of people the Serbs are dealing with in southern KiM, or in other words southern Serbia.

thanks for doing a good job in regard to the serbian cause, my dear k-albanian friend "Berk"!

There is an upside of the bloody handshake. It makes it impossible for the DS to return to government either now or in any elections in the near term.
(On the Other Hand, 8 July 2012 17:12)

Sure, assuming that Serbs have already resolved 20%+ unemployment and poverty in Serbia or assuming that 2% of the Serbs electorate in Kosovo makes the decisions for Serbia :)

There is an upside of the bloody handshake. It makes it impossible for the DS to return to government either now or in any elections in the near term. It shuts the door on any possibility that the US or Brussels can fix the democratic process. Again. You could even call it an endorsement of the new government as Tadic tried to compromise with the West but the West gave absolutely nothing in return. Lithuania still has not ratified the SAA as they said they would do in June. Grade A EU BS!

Mr. Q, you are wrong. It was a shame to have a Western paid politician like Tadic to represent Serbia. There is no good will in shaking a suspected war criminal's, suspected organ-harvestors hand. This was pure pressure form the US, and Tadic obliged. If Tadic, during the time he was president, said to the USA, either we divide Kosovo among ethnic lines, or there is no more talk, we may already have a solution for KiM? But no, he tried to play both sides of the fence, and got burned. So, we are back at step one. That, Mr. Q, is what happens when you allow foreign interests to rule your judgment, and or pocket. Tadic has, and is, showing himself to be a total disgrace for Serbia - and I was once one of his biggest followers.

Mr. Dacic you wish you were half the man Mr. Tadic is. It takes a brave man to take a bold action. Shaking hands is a good will gesture and an act of politness something that you lack. Such a shame for Serbia to have you take charge.

Tadic shaking the hands of suspected terrorist Thaci, , certinaly the most despised person in Serbia, sent a collective nausea through out the country.
(ecoman, 8 July 2012 13:35)

What's special about that, dear ?! Slobodan was suspected of very serious crimes and still people were shaking hands with him because they had to deal with him as long as he was in charge in Serbia.

Berk, cut the sarcasm and stop acting the drama queen. Serbia is not being a hypocrite at all. No one is drooling, but simply making comments on Tadic's handshake with Thaci. This disingenuous gesture from both politicians was pure American pressure. BTW, what is U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon, doing at a Balkan summit in Dubrovnik, was he maybe trying to exert some pressure on certain attendees? Serbia has the right, like any other sovereign nation, to have relations with any country they chose, for economic, strategic, and social issues. They also have a right to their own State policy. I think you are the hypocrite, Berk, LOL!

Even while innocent Serbs are murdered in Kosovo, Tadic shakes the bloodstained hand of the "snake". Tadic is nothing but a traitor to all of the people of Serbia. This quisling has many faces, while president one, while sore political loser another, and I wonder what face he wears in his private life. Youll never be able to wash your hands Mr Tadic and your role in Serbian politics is FINISHED! Go back to Montenegro.

Why is he campaigning? He is stating what State policy is, and will be towards Kosovo? Tadic shaking the hands of suspected terrorist Thaci, , certinaly the most despised person in Serbia, sent a collective nausea through out the country. The DS, like Dacic said, can have their opinions on State policy, but they are no longer in the ruling government, and should act accordingly.

Off to a shakey start

The Election is over, at least until the new govt folds. Maybe Dacic needs to spend his energy in preventing that and not campaigning!
