Expert says “Serbian media are trapped”

Of course Serbian media is trapped. As a result of this, the people will never have all of the facts to make the correct decision on anything. Take a look at this article about Serbian media during the wars. Whats interesting is that they specifically mention RTS which B92 still uses for their articles. Anyway, this is not news for anyone else in this world. Everyone knows how Milosevic played the people like a violin with his extreme nationalism and tight control of the media. 10 yrs later and youre all still stuck in the 90's.

Thanks Captain Q, for the excellent, tho depressing link. the serbian media, in particular, was really evil during the war. they were saying the "muslims" were throwing children to the lions in the sarajevo zoo... they were evil, period.

but that was then, and this is now. and what's their excuse these days?? slobo is dead...

Please refrain from commenting on things you know nothing about. You are spreading disgusting misinformation which is exactly what you're accusing the Serbian media of doing. You fail to mention the propaganda spread by the Croatian and Bosnian media. Oh yeah, that's because it doesn't suit your argument to speak on things using facts.

People living in glass house should never throw stones. Perhaps you might enlighten us all about your free press in the US and how much they have told you about what the US really does in the name of the people but for the corporations. Perhaps you might want to tell us all about the several hundred journalists who were fired in 2001 because they openly wrote in major papers against the invasion of Iraq or perhaps how your major media were well aware of the terrible things going on in Abu Grahib prison in Iraq well before the local papers printed the stories.
