"They caught him red-handed with the kalashnikov he used for the murder. Not even EULEX could find and excuse to get him off. I'm sure they tried.

Actually, he turned himself in to the police the next day. And confessed. Nobody tried to get him off, except, I suppose, his lawyer, who would be in trouble with the bar association if he didn't.

He stole another person's property and then killed him. In the US that would be the death penalty.

You are wrong, there was no theft involved, an easement was created. Of course I don't expect you to understand legal terms; I would, however, recommend you google it.

Another thing you're wrong: the death penalty --- that's something only Texas deems legal and worthy of a punishment.

"This is very positive it could set a precedent- if you're Albanian and commit a crime against a non Albanian you might have to face the consequences. Wow. This could begin to encourage refugees to return."

To set a precedent and encourage refugees, it would be necessary that a similar procedure would be applied to those scumbags who throw stones at people and vehicles on the roads: They must be convicted for attempted murder and/or endangering life of passengers and sent to prison for 2-3 years at least instead of calling them 'playing kids' and downplaying their attacks, and these things would stop very soon, I'm sure.

At first I was amazed to read this report. 1. They found the guy. 2. They arrested him. 3. They convicted him. I almost can't believe it even if it was an open and shut case. Could law and order be on its way?

Doubtful really, but you are also talking about an area where many in the Hague who have been guilty of murdering whole families have received less time.

Yesterday EULEX arrested Albanian terrorists who shot at police officers in Serbia from Kosovo, today EULEX judges sent an Albanian killer to prison. Finally some improvements that deserve to be called that name.
