We don't like NATO and the West in general because they interfered in our methods of Balkan politics by bombing us.

Therefore, everything done by the US, Germany, etc.. Is evil and the Russians and Chinese governments are perfect and are our most loved friends.

Accusations that Assad troups committed atrocities must be wrong by definition, because it does not fit our certain knowledge that Russia is right to support the Assad government, because the Russians are not the West and therefore must be right.

The rebels in Syria have been governed by the same party for nearly 50 years. Why should they want to change things now? By bringing women and children to their demonstrations against their government don't they deserved to have snipers bought in to peacefully try to disperse the crowd? They didn't take the hint, so is it surprising that a few 'tanks' have also been put on view?

The tanks that the West say that the Assad troups are using to shell civilian areas are not real and are just made of cardboard specially imported from Russia .

"President Assad still enjoys an overwhelming support of the Syrians. Peoples power. the USA/israel/€USSR can bring in all the weapons and continue the butchering all they want but they can´t change the minds of the Syrians.

Plus, thank you for telling us what most Syrians think.

Of course it´s not true Leonidas if it was the self proclaimed "international community" of 25 war-mongering neo-colonialists and a bunch of medieval monarchies in the Persian gulf would be bragging 24/7.

I wished you were right and Russia and China should've been more forthcoming in exposing the propaganda of those countries (U.S./Saudi Arabia/Qatar/Turkey) who are themselves supplying arms and sponsoring terrorist acts by the insurgent groups.

"Another source told Kommersant that Moscow did not support Assad personally and that it believed that he had a slim chance of remaining in power."

Not personally, but Russia supports the Syrian state under the Assad regime, because it's a good customer for Russian weapon exports.

Not This Again

Headline 1: "Russia grants butcher Assad Asylum"

Headline 2: "Russia protects war criminals"

The West wants to have its cake and eat it as per usual. Either way, it will spectacularly back fire on them. Timing to be confirmed...

P.S. The Armenians are already leaving Syria (Aleppo).

“We are not defending Assad. He has about 10 percent chance of remaining in power," the source said

If the above statement held true then its probably game, set and match for Assad.
