My exact thoughts. I would go even further and say that Albanians had their murderous intentions towards Serbs for a lot longer than dating back to 1990s.
So if we don't capitulate, we are returning back to something dark. We only defended our people in Kosovo. What is dark about that?

Yep, back to the 90's, this time with the US and Europe on their knees and Russia plus China standing shoulder to shoulder with Serbia. Turkey will be destroyed, the Kurds will finally have their homeland and Albanians will be going home to be united as they have always dreamed.

There's nothing like a lazy comparison for lazy people. It's a pity that albanian supporters also revel in their victimology and refuse to accept any responsibility for events or anything that they have done.

Pristina should be worried, because this is NOT the 1990's. In 1998-99, Yugoslavia was a weak, isolated nation with no real Russian backing. In 2012, Toma and Dacic will have the full blessing of Putin's Russia to reclaim Kosovo, one way or another. I do not think Mr. Nikolic or Mr. Dacic will ever accept a Independent Kosovo, even if that causes them to lose out on EU membership(which isnt looking that great anyway!)Kosovo has belonged to the Serbs for 623 years. The "Government" in Pristina is nothing more than Albanian Mobsters. I actually think that a large number of Albanians in Kosovo might prefer Serb rule at this point. I know I'll be laughed at and derided for this opinion, but there it is. I can only wish that this can be resolved without armed conflict, but that seems unlikely.

Who are Kosovars? Residents of Kosovo of different ethnic background feel that absolutely nothing unites them. For example are Kosovo Albanians ready to sacrifise part of their ethnic Albanian identity to the purpose of making a common state with Serbs? It means to put down Klinton's statue in Prishtina and start considering the KLA terrorist organization and Thaci - terrorist leader? i don't think so.

So the west is going to build one more Albanian state

there are no people in kosovo than need defending. the situation is that the people in kosovo need living under the same institutions for the country to move forward as they have done the neighbouring countries like macedonia and serbia where although with some difficulties have managed to live under same institutions and each region have their representatives at the parliament.

Russia can bless them all they want, it isn't going to change a thing. Russia is a dying power, it isn't the super power it was back in the 1980s. Russia is a wannabe-superpower with a declining population.

Kosovo was under the Ottoman Empire from 1455 to 1912, so Kosovo hasn't belonged to the Serbs for 623 years. Kosovo was under Yugoslav/ Serb rule for less than 100 years. Now Kosovo belongs to the Kosovars.

Nikolic won't bother with an armed conflict, he isn't that much of a fool. He and Dacic can see what happened to the last guy who went to war of Kosovo. The west would repel any Serb forces from Kosovo, they've invested far too much in it now. Russia isn't capable to fight a war that far away from it's boarders and it wouldn't be worth it for Russia. Not to mention that Russia and Putin don't care for Serbia, only themselves. Also any conflict that Serbia initiates over Kosovo will only benefit Kosovo on the international arena. Russia and Serbia both know this.

Me thinks the Albanians are trying to imitate the Serbs of the 90's just look at Northern kosovo where %5 Albanians live, the Albanians are trying to implement total control, and in Macedonia where they make up %25 of the population they are trying to carve out a ethnically pure state there..
