So either your a lier or very bad informed. But at least I know know where your foolish comments on Kosova and Albanians are based on.

I am not talking about the Dutch themselves. I am talking about all the Muslims over there doing this dirty work and getting away with it. The Dutch are tolerant but very naive.
You know I am right.

Funny. 'murdered all the time?' How many have been murdered? 2? 3? And there's a little difference in Holland, compared to Serbia: It's only the extremists and religious fanatics amongst the Muslim immigrants which cause these problems with gays, and not the genuine Netherlanders.

===============================

I NEVER said that it was the Dutch themselves. I said thanks to the political correctness of the Dutch. I know it's the Muslims and not just a few of them. By your definition of extremist then quite a lot of the Muslims are extremists in Holland, for this is a real problem over there. The defense for these Muslims is that they are a misunderstood minority and therefore they have to be tolerated no matter what they do.

Gays unfortunately are being harassed and even murdered in Holland all the time, so don't come here claiming that Serbia is the only non Muslim country guilty of such things. Actually, in Holland the situation is much worse thanks to political correctness of the Dutch.
Gays are prey over there. Educate yourself a little bit before you shoot your mouth off.
(Peggy, 2 July 2012 11:50)

That is utter rubbish! Absolutely rubbish. I have been living now for thirteen years in the Netherlands (after I was expelled by the Serbs in '99, but I think you guessed that) and the Netherlands is one of the most tolerant countries in the world when it comes to gays and one of the greatest promoters of gay rights. Netherlands was the first country to legalize the gay marriage. There are incidents where gays are being harassed (usually by moroccan immigrants) but murderd? absolutely not.

There is a gayparade in Amsterdam every year and there have been no incidents what so ever in al those years. I don't have to tell you how the gayparade in Belgrade last year went. And you dare to compare Serbia withe the Netherlands?

Personally, the one time I went to Kosovo, I found that people didn't speak English all that well. I would say "well, I also speak Serbian", and they would speak well to me in Serbian. Eventually, I gave up with the English and just started speaking Serbian to everyone and never had a problem. So, just from my own (albeit very limited) experience, I have to wonder if the way some people present Kosovo Albanian hostility to anything Serbian isn't somewhat exaggerated.
(Danilo, 2 July 2012 15:39)

The same thing happens to the Serbian tourists who come to Albania : they always are helped around by those Kosovo Albanians who also know Serbian. No Serb tourists here have ever been harassed. Wonder why?

The Serbs who get attacked in Kosovo are almost exclusively those who robbed the houses and belongings of their Albanian neighbours till '99. Not people one should shed any tear for..

Peggy,

"I have nothing against gays"

I know you don't. You've made supportive comments in the past.

"so don't come here claiming that Serbia is the only non Muslim country guilty of such things"

I'm not claiming this. What I am claiming is that Serbia is the WORST, not that it doesn't happen elsewhere. Homophobia will always exist, I think, so I'm not saying there's places where there's no homophobia and violence against queers. I'm saying that Serbia is the worst and by good measure. This is true. This is measurable. This is self-evident.

I get more outraged by this that things in Kosovo, because this is a more black-white situation. Kosovo, you have so much history, and agendas mixed it that it's harder to tell what's what.

Personally, the one time I went to Kosovo, I found that people didn't speak English all that well. I would say "well, I also speak Serbian", and they would speak well to me in Serbian. Your not physically capable to expel anyone en masse. What Albanians are capable of doing they already do, and that is why you hear stories of desecrated graves, churches as well as harassing teenage girls. Everything else that is being done to Serbs is at the hands of KFOR which is a larger and unnatural presence in this dispute.
(Ari Gold, 1 July 2012 23:31)

Peggy,

Name a country, other than an Islamic theocracy or African crap-hole where 6000 thugs (publicly supported by the national church) come to kill when 500 gays and supporters gather to march around 1 block. Name another place where a young woman is stabbed in broad daylight for wearing an LGBT shirt. Name another city that has "death to faggots" and "we're waiting for you" written on almost every wall in the city centre.

Anyone who denies the base savagery that that exists in inconscionable amounts towards gays in Serbia is being disingenuous.

As long as somebody else besides Albanians and KFOR (NATO) are supervising in Kosovo, then the Serbs have somebody to complain to, even if nobody does anything about their complaints. When NATO is left alone to be the Albanian bodyguard in Kosovo, then Serbs will no longer be able to pretend there is any reason to talk any more.

It is the EU's pretense that as long as some kind of talks are going on between the Albanians and the Serbs regarding Kosovo, then this will replace the appeals going on between the Serbs and the various "international representatives" now present in Kosovo.

This is not the case. The only reason that diplomatic discussions are going on between the Serbs and the Albanians controlling Kosovo is because of the international presence there. Once that goes, the only thing that the Albanians have to negotiate with is the military presence of NATO. Force and violence will be all they have left and that's all they ever had. The facade will be down completely.

Serbia refused to acknowledge Resolution 1244, as the legal document governing over Kosovo, when the west started claiming it was no longer relavant and Kosovo claimed independence, then Serbia come out with banners of 1244 is in force and everytime they mention Kosovo everything must be in accordance with 1244 eventhough most had never read it and no one in Serbia actually uses a true interpretation.
Serbs refused to acknowledge UNMIK as the control of Kosovo until they started handing over authorities to the Pristina govt, then UNMIK is the only legitimate authority in Kosovo.
Serbia has said that the ICO has no authority in Kosovo and there is no such thing as supervised independence, now that they are saying that part is over and they are pulling out of Kosovo, Serbia is crying!

You won't take back everyone cleansed by the KLA and friends, the north is under constant threat by the Komedy Polis Service and in the south they just keep their heads down because they know exactly what will happen to them if they speak up or things go wrong in the north. Maybe Pristina will give them special coats to make them easier to identify.

that sounds like the additional rights that minorities (like gays) have in Serbia :)

What are you on? Show us an example of how gays graves are destroyed, their apartments vandalized etc. Go on, show us some examples or shut up. Do you only say something in order to hear your voice, or read cr@p you write?

Nothing to worry! Serbs in northern Kosovo should and will have the same rights to those enjoyed by Albanians living in Presevo, Bujanovc and Medvegja. If the Serbian government tells that to the Serbs living in northern Kosovo I am sure that they will love it and start learning how to live in an independent Kosovo. Albanians living in Presevo, Bujanovc and Medvegja are still learning how to live in Serbia.....)))))
(EA, 1 July 2012 13:32)

Serbia is a state, Kosovo is a disputable territory. They have different statuses, so one couldn't equalize Serbs in Northern Kosovo and Albanians in Presevo, Bujanovc and Medvegja.

While Serbs in Southern Kosovo enjoy even additional rights: To get their vehicles stoned, graveyards vandalized and apartments robbed when they're absent. They should be happy about these rights granted by Kosovo police!

Take it easy Danilo. I have nothing against gays and I have even given enough comments on this site on that so not one person can be confused as to where my support lies but you are so wrong, so very very wrong.

I think it's horrible that anyone should be targeted for any reason but it seems that Serbs are genuine targets in Kosovo and I have not heard you condemn this. Why not? Even dead Serbs are fair game so let's see you get equally outraged about that.

“12-13 years is not enough time to be able to say that there is communication between the two communities in Kosovo,” the state secretary explained.

If 12-13 years was not enough to convince you that Kosova is not part of Serbia, what makes you think additional 12-13 other years will be enough? You can live in world for all we care, bc, we know for a fact that Serbian boot will never walk Kosova land.
Ops, I forgot that you were in bed with Thaci government while back!

Serbia does not recognize the ICO office and International Steering Group. With the conclusion of supervised independence these two offices will be closed. If Serbia did not recognize the existence of these two offices then why Oli is so worried of their closure.
Or probably Serbian Government has not being honest with her public which is not rare occurence.

Funny. 'murdered all the time?' How many have been murdered? 2? 3? And there's a little difference in Holland, compared to Serbia: It's only the extremists and religious fanatics amongst the Muslim immigrants which cause these problems with gays, and not the genuine Netherlanders.

So either your a lier or very bad informed. But at least I know know where your foolish comments on Kosova and Albanians are based on.
