No partition of Kosova is correct politic.
All of Kosova for Albanian and Bosniac peoples.
No future for Serbia in Kosova.
End of story.

Do you think, because you have the biggest guns, that you can make the determinations, and borders, for sovereign countries? You would then be imposing your will, NATO's, aka US State Dept,. upon a nation that cannot defend itself against your demands. I know you enjoy the odor of cruise missiles exploding, but give the world a break. Let them decide a bit of their own fate. (Ecoman, )

-- Two things.

Yes whoever has the big guns decides. If you're on their side you win. That's how Serbia got Kosova after WWII to start with. Now you're bitter only cuz you were on the wrong side. There would be no b!tch!ng whatsoever from you guys if you were on Americas good side. Which brings me to the next point. Not once did you guys mentioned that Albanians were left to defend themselves against a nation that had the big guns and could not defend itself. Not once were concerned with Albanians deciding a bit of their own fate. Then 1999 comes along and you have the audacity to complain about not having a say and deciding your fate. Well thats a b!tch now aint it. Not only that but you feel you're entitled for the Serbs to decide their own fate while to this day you maintain Albanians fate should be whatever Belgrade feels like. Sorry dude. Until the average Serb realizes that Kosova cannot be under Belgrade even nominally I really don't give flying fvk. You ask for a more logical attitude from the other side while you yourself want to maintain your irrational attitude towards Kosova.

"NATO chief: Kosovo will not be partitioned"

Indeed... Kosovo, as whole - is Serbia.
But I won't regret, if anyone of NATO is partitioned.

What is Kosovo to NATO? I really dont understand this intrasigence. It must be economic. Albright and Clarke are making deals we know, but there is something else. Pipelines maybe. One in the eye for Russia perhaps. There is no political reason why Kosovo should not be partitioned. Something stinks (as it has from the start of this unholy mess)

of course it won´t be partitioned! the whole of it is serbian territory, and only waits for being liberated.

so, no need for those clowns to tell us what we already think.

Anders Fogh Rasmussen, actually is a tragic figure, since he is the one who is giving the occupying forces a face, and it is him who has to understand that this is nothing NATO will decide about.

it will be others who will change the course when the time has come. and I do not doubt that this will happen. let´s just see what future brings.

Serbia will prevail!

PRIŠTINA -- NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has said that "everyone should understand" that Kosovo will not be partitioned.

Meanwhile according to Mr Rasmussen, Serbia can be partitioned.

What hypocrisy and double standards.

sj

pre 11 godina

Rasmussen you also said that NATO will not leave Afghanistan until it was stable and under the control of the Afghan people. With Dacic now PM this signals a new turning point in that region and Kosovo will be dealt with but to Belgrade’s advantage. Now watch the tide turn.

"Rasmussen added that the EU mission, EULEX, "does not have the necessary capacities to perform all its tasks", and noted that "NATO and the EU were discussing this openly"."

Read: With all the corruption, mafia groups and other criminality in Kosovo, the few 1000 EULEX employees work on a never-ending task.

Especially when their local partners like KPS are corrupt and unprofessional as well and cannot be trusted. To sum it up: The project to create a democratic, multi-ethnic Kosovo with European values failed.

So now we are told ;

" EU mission, EULEX, "does not have the necessary capacities to perform all its tasks", and noted that "NATO and the EU were discussing this openly"."

- exactly what Serbia has said about EULEX when asking for a UN led investigation into the war crimes over missing Serbian citizens (of all ethnicities) who were abducted and illegally transferred (a war crime in itself) to Albania who never returned and many suspect (Marty, delponte etc) being murdered for their organs.

"Openly" now EULEX is seen as ineffective in carrying out its western puppet master wishes yet EULEX continues to suggest it has a capacity to investigate heinous war crimes that some of it's members (notably Germans, British and French with Kuchner) may well have been at worst complicit in but certainly has attempted to obscure and cover up this war crime committed by KLA terrorists headed by western poster boy of "democracy" Thaci aka the snake!

He may actually be right even though in a way he did not mean it. When a war starts over Kosovo, Serbs may get it back all. Albanians would be smart to cement their victory and take what they have but they are greedy.

Bob

pre 11 godina

From this I conclude that it is an option

If it were not, it would not be mentioned.

Personally, I think the locals will not be ruled by Pristina, so non-partition will be a cause of future conflict.

Rassmuessen, am I close in the spelling, please shut the F up. Who made you, and the war machine you represent, boss? Do you think, because you have the biggest guns, that you can make the determinations, and borders, for sovereign countries? There is something wrong with that picture then, because it then becomes totalitarian rule. You would then be imposing your will, NATO's, aka US State Dept,. upon a nation that cannot defend itself against your demands. Is that America's view of democracy? Take a day off, Rogh, and go and smell some flowers. I know you enjoy the odor of cruise missiles exploding, but give the world a break. Let them decide a bit of their own fate. BOOM!

Matt

pre 11 godina

No direct quote about partition, and yet saying political dialogue will bring solution. Well then, stop trying to implement Pristina's wishes. Even better, leave northern Kosovo. End the occupation.
