I would invest into a different kind of airplanes, capable of carpet bombing. way better in order to pacify KLA-chickenthieves.

as for missiles, if they downed a stealth-bomber, I do not doubt that they would have any problems in downing any other US-american fighter-jet.

Ben for the first time I recommended your post coz what you say is really true. And it’s supposed to be a fast increasing support. It happened that besides important uniting things we also need each other. So Serbia is the best place to show what we can do for our allies. I think Toma and Vlad will make us even closer. And we can already witness how the EU dogs started to filter their barking. Do you really believe that the French or the Germans believe you to be as human as they are ? Of course not. They need you only until the Serbs have the will to resist. Then you’ll feel yourself as a used preservative. The rules of the game are fast changing again while the Albanians as you know have no true friends.

It’s not you that they care in Brussels and Washington but the crimes of their own. This is why they needed to destroy the only resisting nation in the Balkans. The situation is very slipper and before it changes best if you start to improve your relations with Serbia. For certain KM will be divided. And the sooner the two sides accept it the better. The Serbian Air Force already has MiG-29s in its fleet, but those are the first generation aircraft, i.e., version 9-12B, whose performance and combat capabilities are significantly lower than those of either new versions.

Whats so stupid about this purchase is the fact that the Wests/NATO/USA missle and radar technology is so advanced that these planes will get hit before they even know whats coming. America and NATO jets can fire their missles from beyond line of sight and hit these like its a game. Serbian jet fighters stood no chance back in 1999, what makes you think American Missle and radar technology hasnt gotten better? This is a waste of money. If you dont have the best planes money can buy, invest in the best missles instead. It will be more effective and cheaper.

Croatia should not go with Russian watered down technology. Like the Russians have been selling to Arab country's they always get creamed by Israel or any one else with western technology. Well anyways sorta free they want to use our Zadar air base in return for training their in the winter months. North Vietnam had proven that it's not the case if the pilots are educated and trained. Arab education is horrible, pilot training is not any better. Better Arab civilian airlines use foreign pilots as contractors.

I dont even understand why Serbia has an armed force? they are too scared too use them anyways! Right now thousands of KFOR soldiers and UCK rebels are freely walking around Serbian territory (KOSOVO). The money used to upgrade these useless planes could have been given to Serbs in Kosovo to buy...i dunno..stringer anti air launches or mortars. Kosovo Serbs could gladly shoot some KFOR helicopters out of the sky!

The Serbian airforce desperately needs a revamp which I thought I heard Sutonovac probing for a new squadron (12-14)of advanced multirole fighters. Not much talk since his comments in 2010, but you would think with all of Serbia's relations that the would have scrapped the mig-21,j-22,g-4 fleet. Those planes were for the 70's! And now Serbia doesn't even have 2 operational Mig-29's!!!??? I'm talking some Mig-35's (let's be consistent) and an upgraded missile defense system for sure (s-300/400). If not the Mig-35 then some version of SU -27/30 ish would do. That or at least get some more attack helicopters and modern tanks. We still operate the t-55!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't tell me Serbia can't afford it, they can, or they will pay the price later.

Lenard due, this is not about croatia. As for Israel - they had huge backing of the US. They get billions a year in aid from the US, and on top of that even more billions in military aid. They are so well armed that it is clear that nobody in the region has such an army like they do. As for war... Israel has not been in any open wars with other countries. In the yom kipur war they were really struggling. In the first war, the seven day war, they were clearly superior from even before the start. As for, recent times... they were not able to defeat hezbola in southern lebanon.

But with all that said and done, no country in the region can afford to buy expensive war planes! This is regardless of where they are made.
