Correction - the turnout to the referendum was closer to 84% and not 50% as stated.

Serbs should not be patronizing Croatia. Croats are not a warm and nice people, in general, and they are down right cruel to Serbs. There is still attacks on the remaining Serb inhabitants and tourists are attacked as well as their vehicles.
Plus their roads are dangerous - just the other day a busload of Czechs was in a fatal crash. The beloved Macedonian singer Tose Proeski died in a car accident their too and there's been mysterious disappearances/deaths of young women who've gone on vacation there, like the Australian girl a few years ago.
