13-year-old drowns in Belgrade

A 13-year-old boy from the Belgrade suburb of Kovilovo drowned in Ada Ciganlija lake in Belgrade around noon on Saturday.

Very sorry to hear this. I live by a river in the US that seems to take a teen's life every year or two when the weather gets hot, my sympathies to the parents of this child.

This is a very sad story. I hope the authorities did all that they should have to prevent people from diving and swimming in unsafe areas of Ada.
