The Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) "is closer" to forming a coalition with the Democratic Party (DS), Belgrade daily Večernje Novosti has reported.

The leader of the Socialist Party (SPS), hesitating whether to support Tadic again or to make a coalition with the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS). SNS is offered Dacic to be prime minister in the government. In coalition with the Democratic Party he can't be Prime Minister. The key of government formation is in Dačić hands.

My only hope is, form any kind of government, but please, for the sake of Serbia, keep Dinkic out of government. This man has swindled away so many funds from Serbia's State budget to his crony businessmen, cheated the Serbian citizens in their fair share of state owned properties, and pocketed God knows what through controversial privatizations. He is the epitome of what is wrong with the mafia controlled Serbian government.
