"You are the model of a forum's moderator... you should do this more LOL
(icj1, 23 June 2012 23:55)"

Not sure what you mean by "the model of a forum's moderator". Is this a departure from your previous claim about me being a B92 moderator? Which you could not prove despite my request to do so.

As for doing "this more", well, again not exactly sure what you mean. If you mean to post on B92 more often, well, that will obviously have to depend on my mood and interest in the news reports here then.

“Where on Io have I said B92 isn't a Serbian website? Are you OK? Am I not allowed to visit Serbian websites?
(Nikolle, 21 June 2012 14:14)”

I assure you that I am perfectly OK, but I’m not sure about YOU!!!!

Where did I state that you said that B92 isn’t a Serbian website?????? Except perhaps as a figment of your imagination or confusion or both.

Let me help that muddled mind of yours:

1. On 20 June, YOU wrote "Peggy, there is a difference between a Serbian site and a site FOR Serbs”. To which I asked you to clarify the difference between the two and YOU failed to clarify these up to now.

2. You then wrote under the name Nikolaev and then claimed to have “mistyped” your name. And yet, barely one day later, today, you signed off your post as Nikolaev again, ie. Did you “mistyped” your name a second time in your confusion???

3. Today you also wrote that CNN is an American website. To which I asked you how does this fact contradict Peggy’s statement that B92 is a Serbian site. Which you not only failed to answer but instead now asked “Where on lo have I said B92 isn’t a Serbian site?” – but I NEVER asked you why you think B92 isn’t a Serbian site!

Objectively, I would submit that you are one confused Turkey.

Peggy, there is a difference between a Serbian site and a site FOR Serbs :-) oh and Peggy, if Kosovo is really Serbia's, I would have to be possession of a Serb passport wouldn't I.
(Nikolle, 20 June 2012 08:31)
=====================================

Do you reply to me just for the hell of it because you try to outsmart me or do you actually have something to add to the discussion or my comments?
I really don't get what you are trying to say.
Do you know what you want to say? If you do, please explain it to me because frankly you don't make any sense at all.

“So, CNN as an American website is a website for Americnas? Got it! Yes it was me, I made a typo, big deal :-)
Nikolaev
(Nikolle, 21 June 2012 11:26) “

How does CNN as an American website contradict Peggy’s view that B92 is a Serbian site?

And you still remain unable to clarify what is “a site for Serbs”, nor how this is relevant to refute Peggy’s view that B92 is a Serbian site.

Yes, it’s a big deal to me when you create ambiguity that you remain unable to clarify when requested.

"As for the Serb passport, that too is a top, meant to write Serbian passport. I'll pay more attention next time :-)
(Nikolle, 20 June 2012 16:45)"

You have still not clarified what is "a site for Serbs". Nor have you explained how the difference between a Serbian website and a site for Serbs is relevant to the point raised by Peggy about you coming to B92 which she has already stated to be a Serbian site in the first place.

"I mistyped my name Iowe, I am Nikolle
(Nikolle, 20 June 2012 16:39)"

Well, if you were actually that Nikolaev, it seems to be to be more than a mere "mistyped" of your name ..... seems to me to be an entirely different name altogether when you put Nikolle and Nikolaev side by side.

You may have thought it obvious, but who knows what Nikolle thought .... especially when he/she talks about "a Serb passport" rather than a Serbian passport. Which was why I requested his/her clarification and criteria. And I would thank you to let him/her clarify this for himself/herself.

"This is an informal precondition that Serbia must meet if it wishes to start the EU accession talks," the source said - remarks that top Serbian officials have hurried to dismiss as inaccurate.

According to the diplomat, the de facto embassy forms part of the preconditions that Brussels has called "normalisation of relations with Pristina"

So do you consider B92 to be "a Serbian site" or "a site FOR Serbs"? What is your criteria?

And why should you need to possess "a Serb passport" rather than a Serbian passport?

Now you understand why I no longer enter into any serious debate on economics or finance - this sums it all up. Kosovo produces nothing and only consumes, but by some miracle it leads the EU in economic growth. Look I’ll print your statement and take it with me when we have our bimonthly performance review where I work, which will be tomorrow.
You might pass on this little secret to the others that are not as fortunate as Kosovo like Italy or maybe France or the UK – show them the Albanians way forward.

Kosovo has no national debt, you say? Well! I always thought the CIA were blatant and deceitful liars! They actually had the gall to claim in their World Factbook that you guys ran an external debt of USD 326 million! Not only that, they even had the audacity to write that "Kosovo's citizens are the poorest in Europe with an average annual per capita income (PPP) of $6,500" despite the impressive economic data of yours. Aren't you absolutely furious with these CIA claims???? ....... I mean, if these claims were true, just imagine how much, much worse the debt figure could be without all those massive foreign aid that you guys have been receiving!!!!!

Also very strange .... how come your so, so, so impressive growth rate of 5.2% didn't seem to help your unemployment rate which is still hovering at 45% or more? Almost double the unemployement rate of those terrible Serbians!

Serbia's respense to the EU should be..... Serbia has heard your extra conditions and they are unacceptable. Either withdraw them or it will begin negotiations on entry into the Eurasian Union. The EU is a slowly dying organization that will ultimately pull Germany down if it does not disolve. Berlin will ultimately drown due to Greece, Spain, etc., or it will break up the EU as we know it to save itself. Economically, Western Europe is a dramatically aging and dying continent anyway that can't pay its bills, and will only get demographically older. The Emerging economies are the future, led by China, India, Brazil, Russia, South Africa, and the rest of Asia and South America. Serbia is only a nation of seven million people; it needs to attach itself to the emerging nations to grow, and not an organization that will collapse under its growing debt. Why join the EU when it is rotting economically?

LOL I admire your humor, seriously Cohen is a genius. But did you know he was going to make Borat come from Albania not Kazakhstan? He picked the latter because it sounded funnier. But he should have picked the former because Kazakhstan is a very rich and resourceful country whereas Albanians are much closer to the type of character Cohen tried to project and Albania seriously depicts the opening scene of the Borat movie which was taped in Romania.
(Ari Gold, 19 June 2012 17:04)

LOL, you should know by now that Serbs cant insult Albanians :-). We Albanians dont have an high opinion about Serbs and Serbia; as far as I'm concerned you are at the same level with countries like Somalia, Ethiopia or Kenia. You are not of more importance than those countries. I dont mean to insult you, but this is the reality.

And Borat is great! I think many Serbs could relate to his caracter as he portrays the every day live of the avarage Serbs (especiall in the opening scene)

Serbia's national debt has reached over 50% of the GDP. It will take years to pay the debt off. You dinar is getting wekaer compare to Euro so that's why big companies want to move to Serbia, cheap labor. They will give you Serbs 100E/mnth and you'll be able to feed your kids for an entire month. Germany has three things she needs to survive: Capital, Resources and Technology. They want to keep Greece in the Eurozone simply because they want Euro to survive but if it doesn't they will go back to Deutchmark and be fine. Don't worry about Germany or Kosova. Why do you think those countries are working to keep those countries from collapsing? This is because German and French banks own all of the Greek, Spanish and Italian debt.

Besides once those countries default their economies after about a year would see a massive incline as they are not tied down by German dictation. Also, all of those countries have tourist markets that would welcome a devalued currency.

But besides, its very telling how you and your friends continue to bank on the strong nations forever supporting your aspirations as if it is cemented into reality.

You have no independence you are weak and feeble people dependent on outside assistance just to be able to be poor.....how sad.

When the currency collapses I'm sure those mighty Germans you speak so highly of will rush to continue providing charity to organ traffickers.

First of all,North Kosovo serbs are not as loyal as u think.
Most of them want statu quo, because this statu quo gives them privileges, and as Stefanovic said in his last interview, they have 3-4 hauses in Belgrade and apply for humanitarian aid in North Kosovo.
The statu quo fits them well because they dont pay any taxes and bills.Who doesn't like this?
However,they r more pragmatist as u think.
Kosovo gonverment will open its office in North Mitrovica and for 55 jobs 550 serbs have applied. This numer is far more high than 67 serbs who voted Yes in last referendum,so either the results of referendum r wrong,or serbs in North dont care working for Kosovo gonverment.
What I am saying is that the new gonverment in Belgrade should deal with Kosovo issue and solve once and for all.
Get some special status for serbs now, because 3-4 month from now will be late and u will not get anything. If u get special status for the North u should agree to allow Kosovo to enter UN.So u can say to your people that u didnt recognise Kosovo.
Of course North Kosovo will be empty after this deal, since serbs will move to their luxury houses in Belgrade and probably use houses in North as vacation house. But is their business.
As for Russia, please dont hope to them.Uncle Putin as ivan referes, sold u out when he ordered serbian troops in Balkan to pick up their bags and move back in Russia. They sold out Gadaffi and now they are selling out Assad.

Whether Serbia and Kosovo like it or not. They are going to have to join a new union of Balkan states. I sat in a Serb bar in London at the weekend, with Poles, Czech's, Slovaks, Russians, Africans and English. We were all watching the football, drinking Irish and Serbian beer, meeting new friends and realising that the European championships had brought us all together. I am fully aware of the history surrounding kosovo. But both sides of this argument will have to realise that economically they are interconnected and there will have to be compromise on both sides and that includes the Albanian side too.

If the EU have put new demands, after saying for years that there were no demands, then this is more likely to delay the formation a New Government, unless Puppets and Traitors have long ago Secretly Spoken Treason, but not Publicly, because to do it Publically would land them with Criminal Charges.

I think that any Serbian Politician, who loves his or her Country, should immediately reply to this, and they should not form a Government this month.

This is because Lithuania has said that it will implement the SAA Agreement, and Serbia needs to one act of the EU will keep its word.

The first act of the New Government is to put a Motion to Debate adding all that has been Verbally Agreed to by Serbia and the EU, and that is that there should be very little difference with the Correct Agreement, and the UN Six Point Plan for Kosovo.

If this is not done with a date proved in writing to start Ascension Talks this year, then the EU mediated Belgrade and Pristina written Agreement will go into the Dustbin, and be null and void, and we can start again, because it was just good practice.

If the SAA Agreement is not implemented by Lithuania this month, then it is because the EU is Financially Bankrupt.

The EU are Morally Bankrupt, and Serbia must either demand that Germany treats all European Countries Properly, or that Serbia keeps telling the EU and the World what a Disgusting Piece of Nazi Rubbish Germany is, until Nazism is Fully Eradicated from Europe.

Since most of these countries within this union will be emerging economies they will be focused on growth which is what Serbia exactly needs. Joining the Eurasian Union makes since not only politically, but economically and socially. It really is a win-win.

The best thing is the EAU wont ask of us to hold gay parades and part with Kosovo. There will not be demands and after demands in order to weaken Serbia to be on par with its hostile neighbors.

Serbia stay Neutral, no EU, no Russia. Just focus on the economy. Make deals on export tariffs and that's it. Serbia doesn't need a Euro or Rouble. It just needs a strong export market and a proper climate for foreign investments. Stability is key. With the Kosovo issue slumbering like a dark cloud over the nation this is the most challenging issue. Albanians want their independence, Serbia doesn't want to give in. Serbia can't kick them out of Kosovo because that has already been tried. So the solution could be like the Ireland situation. A north that's loyal to Serbia and a south that's loyal to...ehm I am not sure but surely the Albanians have thought about that. In any case its time to stop this tug-of-war and find a lasting solution, for Serbia's sake and for peace and prosperity.

sj

Tadic was aware of these conditions but they are completely pointless because Serbia is no longer under Tadic nor would the Russians allow it to be so and consequently Moscow selected Nikolic who will do exactly as he is told.
The EU is a shell of what it was say 12 years ago, much like the US and both are crumbling empires trying to stay relevant in a world that is bypassing them at the speed of light. The EU is in no position to demand anything anymore; it has neither the political, military or financial strength to carry out any plan let alone use force.
Like the Titanic, the orchestra was ordered to play as the ship was sinking to calm the passengers and so the EU continues with business as usual thinking that no one will see the naked emperor.
Nothing will change as Moscow deems it to stay as is until the huge crack the ever one will hear and that is the crack of bankruptcy of the west. The EU can’t compete or stop what Moscow wants as it has no more money to offer and this coming “recession” is slowly working its way across Europe like a disease and will destroy the idea of the EU under Nazi control once and for ever. Moscow does not have to spend a cent to achieve their goals.
Have the EU officials that are issuing these new conditions told their people that Germany is showing signs of cracks in their financial books; I bet not.
I understand that Brussels has printed those new conditions on toilet paper and sent them to Belgrade. I wish I could by a copy of them.

Another thing I just want to make clear, if Kosovo is not ours than they wouldn't be trying to take it away now would they? Nobody was this aggressive in getting South Korea to recognize North Korea after their war. If you know your a country, you could give a damn what the other side says or thinks.

Albanians come on here and say "who cares what Serbia thinks", well ironically you do because your on here everyday. But! Your Western backers do VERY MUCH care about what Serbia thinks which is why they are trying to submit Serbia into recognizing the illegal occupation. Because they know their theft could never be legitimate unless they get some kind of puppet regime in Belgrade to accept it.

Belgrade has conceded a lot but despite all this, Kosovo* is still not a country. If they accepted these new waves of conditions then yes Kosovo* would be a country but it will never happen, not because the political elite don't want it to happen, but because they know its simply impossible for them to do such a thing and get away with it.

You can thank Vojislav Kostunica for such a measure who put Serbia's military neutrality and right to Kosovo in our constitution thereby legally binding every public servant by law. Kostunica and his party are the only mainstream political faction that I have a shred of respect for.

Besides, the EU is like 3 months away from complete financial collapse. How silly would Serbia look bowing to conditions for a club it will never get to join.

Now you understand why I no longer enter into any serious debate on economics or finance - this sums it all up. Kosovo produces nothing and only consumes, but by some miracle it leads the EU in economic growth. Look I’ll print your statement and take it with me when we have our bimonthly performance review where I work, which will be tomorrow.
You might pass on this little secret to the others that are not as fortunate as Kosovo like Italy or maybe France or the UK – show them the Albanians way forward.

Chancellor Merkel last year was one of the most prominent one. If you like it or not, is a different question, but stop pretending that it is new. It is not.

Conditioning of Serbia should stop. Twenty-five years of conditioning is too much. It does not lead to integration of Serbia into the EU.Endless conditioning will only stop us on the road to EU.

Mr. Simic, Can you please offer an alternative that maintains control of Kosovo and EU without isolating Serbia and turning it into the new North Korea of Europe? (Mr. Q, 19 June 2012 14:53)

I can offer it ! The alternative’s name is Russia. See how persistent we became in defending our allies. No shade of the Yieldsin’s politics remained. Be it Syria or Iran or any other point. And Serbia is a special place as the Russian people and the elites still feel responsibility for letting the evils smash this country over the round. Together we can do quite a lot of things. Especially now that we all of a sudden received a brilliant partner in this country. No more imitation and OTPOR hypocrisy. Look at the results of the last Putin-Obama meeting to believe it’s true.

Peggy, there is a difference between a Serbian site and a site FOR Serbs :-) oh and Peggy, if Kosovo is really Serbia's, I would have to be possession of a Serb passport wouldn't I.

So do you consider B92 to be "a Serbian site" or "a site FOR Serbs"? What is your criteria?

And why should you need to possess "a Serb passport" rather than a Serbian passport?

"We practically have no national debt and our economy grew 5.2 during 2008 when almost every other country in Europe including Serbia were in a recession. You cheap dinar, your aging population and your depressive outlook will sink your country unless you recognise Kosova and join EU. If that happens you will be able to prosper.
(Xhevdet Hoti, 19 June 2012 19:54) "

Now you understand why I no longer enter into any serious debate on economics or finance - this sums it all up. Kosovo produces nothing and only consumes, but by some miracle it leads the EU in economic growth. Look I’ll print your statement and take it with me when we have our bimonthly performance review where I work, which will be tomorrow.
You might pass on this little secret to the others that are not as fortunate as Kosovo like Italy or maybe France or the UK – show them the Albanians way forward.

Great link, Touche. What will the Albanians do when the ones (CIA) that gave them life in Kosovo, have other future plans, abandon them? Remember, the Serbs were once great allies of America. Where did that friendship end? In any case, an interesting read. http://dalje.com/en-world/eu-collapse-by-2020-croatia-with-west/241061

(Nikolaev, 20 June 2012 12:34) "

You may have thought it obvious, but who knows what Nikolle thought .... especially when he/she talks about "a Serb passport" rather than a Serbian passport. Which was why I requested his/her clarification and criteria. And I would thank you to let him/her clarify this for himself/herself.

No new conditions? Really? Who are they kidding?

http://www.balkaninsight.com/en/article/brussels-requests-belgrade-to-open-representative-office
