That's clear indeed, but there can be a Kosovo* - problem solved!
(Comm. Parrisson, 14 June 2012 19:15)

Not at all clear! According to Serbian Constitution only Serbian representative can represent the country. Is there any Catalonia* for basks? Not as far as I know.

Kosovo will either stay Serbian or become American. It will never be Albanian. The Kosovo Albanians had unbelievable rights before these conflicts started; you had your own universities, institutions, etc. Now you're living in poverty and amongst organised crime under the impression that Kosovo is independent. You had much more freedom and greater rights living with Serbs. Now you barely have any rights or standard of living. You try and convince yourselves that you are "free" and that your dreams of Greater Albania are coming true. In the end, the Albanians are the ones who are getting more screwed here, not the Serbs.

Quite a desperate attempt by Jeremic, considering that all the participating countries (except for the torn state of Bosnia) have already recognized Kosovo.
Under Jeremic, Serbia simply remained a divisive factor in the post-war Balkans. He was a failure as a Foreign Minister both in his efforts to integrate Serbia in EU and to prevent the recognitions of Kosovo.
That is why I am not surprised that despite his election at the helm of GA, he continues to show a sad lack of grace even in such a low-key regional event.

it really does not matter what Jeremic says. if countries like say Bulgaria, Montenegro, Macedonia (you know, Kosova's immediate neighbors) treat Kosova as a state (as they have done, much to Serbia's consternation), let Vuk have his fantasy :-) what the hell, we'll even talk about the Nemanjas to indulge him further

@rockyYou are indeed the foolish one. You speak more of Serbias demise..as all you albos do. But there is nothing ever positive or significant to say about Kosovo. facts are facts...most of the world does not and will not recognize our southern province. And youre foolish to think the support will increase..it will only decrease. Everyone knows its a mafia state..and if those countries had objection..they wldve left the meeting. Many of them could care less..they were told to recognize based on someones order. Simple as that. Several of these countries if not all..have zero care for Kosovo as independant. Zero benefit..yet Serbia has reformed..and continues to. And will be a regional leader. You need to wake up. Serbias position is stronger every year..and no one.. i mean no one talks about Kosovo in any positive sense. They all stay away..what part of that dont you get. And yes..Putin is not like Yeltsin..and you can count on the fact he will see his support through. Already has blocked the UN and will continue to do so. So get used to being nothing more than an asterik..not just in these meetings..but forever. Until the albos reintegrate with Serbia. That is the reality ..whether u like it or not.

According to Mr. Jeremic Kosovo can attend as Kosovo* but not as the Republic of Kosovo. If you are OK with Kosovo* attending then you're OK with the Republic of. You just don't want to admit that you've accepted the loss of Kosovo and the people are too stupid to call you out on it.
Either way, it doesn't change anything for Kosovo or Serbia.

You are indeed foolish!
The majority of the countrys participating at this regional conference have all recognized Kosova as a independent country!
You actually think anyone cares what vuk jerimic,on behalf of mini Serbia has to say? If I were in Serbia's position I would be very carefull... You could very easily see Serbia getting smaller & smaller! You think this process is anywhere near over, for serbia? You think you are just going to be able to call an end to a process that is a lot larger then you could ever have imagined, just like that.. No way little buddy, you are going to have to play hardball whether you enjoy it or not! And don't give us in this forum any of those fantasy big brother Russia will be there to help us, you were sold out by your big brother Yeltsin and his foreign minister in 1999 when he had his plane make a big u turn back to mother Russia! Can't understand how individuals can be so naive??? But then again you sound like a Serb....

This guy has the most swag in the Serbian government.
