Even if were a neutral observer of the situation I would not find a better partner for Serbia other than Russia. For the time being such a partnership seems to be most pragmatic. So if the SNS and SPS make a deal and attract other pro-Serbian forces to form a coalition the country will better walk though the approaching crisis. It will also gain a bargaining chance lost during the Otpor decade. They gave their otpor to Serbia but not to the EU-NATO capital. And though I am personally not very happy about Dacic I am ready to swallow it to give Serbia a chance.

"The newspaper notes that the negotiations between the DS and the SPS are yet to clarify who would join them in a government, and quotes more unofficial information, according to which "once the DS reaches agreement with the LDP and the URS, talks will focus on the distribution of ministries, and people who will head them".

Do you know that newspaper media in Serbia are under democrats control? Don't believe everything you read in newspapers...

Russia recognize the one and only possible coalition that could save Serbia from devastating actions that democrats could do...It's a long, long way to EU and full of demands that Serbia should fulfill. Those demands will, for sure, include recognition of Kosovo and that's the main reason of EU support to democrats...
