Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić said Monday at his inauguration that Serbia's "European path" was the path to future economic prosperity.

The inauguration of Serbian President Nikolic is very important for the region. Boycott of statesmen and representatives of the countries of the region is totally meaningless, because Nikolic said that Serbia is ready to continue the European way and will work with everyone from the region and with the West and the East. Nikolic is not worse than Tadic. Even better, believe me ... All foreign media reported that support File Stefan very important!

It must have been very lonely inauguration, no regional leaders attended the ingaruation.

The only traitor is Nikolić who wants to recognize Abkhazia and South Osetia just to please Putin. Recognizing Abkhazia and Osetia's independence would be strongly against Serbia's interest in Kosovo. I hope the parliament won't do it.

Man..only BS I can hear is the one coming from you. You suggest that Serbian people should be supportive for joining EU...Can I ask you why? I haven't seen anything good from EU except falling apart of it. Take a look at Greece, Spain, Portugal...EU will fall apart before you know it. Germany is the only state in EU that will survive. Next thing you mentioned is Serbian dinar...Let me ask you who is the guilty person for such negative trend? Nikolic you said...Big,Big BS came from your mouth. If you were the person who knows elementary stuff about Serbian economy and politics you should know that Nikolic doesn't have anything with creating monetary politics! That's something Government and Governor should do!!! He is a new President elected 15 days ago, for God sake! Next time you should think twice before putting your thoughts on paper...

Yet how many times do we see Serbs on B92 talking about how they do not need EU, how they will do better without EU. Total BS coming out of a nation, who's currency has been declining for years, 120 Dinars to one single Euro. So Serbian citizens who just elected Tomislav already disagree with their new president. Of course Mr. Nikolic knows that Anschluß into the cash strapped and indigent neo-liberal death star is the disintegration of everything Serbian and most of all our hard won sovereignty, so why the grovelling? Time, the Germans are banging hard and will most certainly knock down our door finally but he needs to buy time and give them the impression of subservience until he can get things together. At least that is what most of us want to believe. Once he get more grab of the power we will see...
