And bringing up the chetnik comment is a cheap propaganda shot. Needless to remind anyone of the Jasenovac concentration camp and the genicidal murder of 700,000 Serbs and Jews. Utter hypocrisy of breathtaking proportions from Mesic.

Exactly. That word cetnik is being used like it is a bad thing and his own people who were and some are still ustashi doesn't represent a bad thing.
There is no disgrace is cetnik. What cetnik past is there to be ashamed of while ustasha is something to be very much ashamed of.

I would like to ask Mesic what exactly did cetniks do that was bad. Who did cetniks fight against and whose side they were on and then ask him the same questions about his own ustasa.

"...to tell Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovina ‘Your homeland is Bosnia-Herzegovina, your capital is Sarajevo and you should look for solutions to all your problems there"

Orrrr...

He could recognize RS as independent!! Not to worry, Sarajevo would never had to recognize the state of RS. It would have to allow others in the region to cooperate with Kosovo and it would have to open the border with RS if nothing else then for the sake of the local Muslims who live in RS.

Some countries would then recognize RS (like Russia), others would block it entry into UN...

EU, including Croatia , of course, would then say that we "agree to disagree", and all are happy.

Ilija what Lenard said is supportedd by verdicts of the Hague tribunal and the ICJ, so if you don't want to respect Lenard then respect the UN courts.

What a load of self serving rubbish from Mesic. How dare one head of state tell another he needs to "prove himself", then lay out the terms he would like fulfilled in satisfaction of what he considers acceptable. Nikolic had already proven himself adequately to the Serbian voter and has their interests to promote.

“If he is strong enough to do what his predecessor did not, namely to tell Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovina ‘Your homeland is Bosnia-Herzegovina, your capital is Sarajevo and you should look for solutions to all your problems there’, then we will know that we can move forward with such Serbian president,” Mesić pointed out. Get real Mesic that is what the chetnik duke fought for. Too murder his neighbours steal their homes rape pillage destroy any trace of them and then bury them in mass graves. Well Satan disguised him self in the garden also.
