Taliban kill French troops

Mr President, methinks many of your voters would have wanted them out of Afghanistan NOW.

Your troops are there as an occupation force and so are fair game for the Talaban.

The French can't complain, they did the same to the NAZIS when they were under occupation.

I don't like the Taliban but they have every right to fight the occupier and get them out of their own country. NATO should leave all occupied countries and let the different factions fight it out between themselves either on the battlefield or through negotiations.

What proof do you have that Afghanistan belongs to the Taliban and not the Afghan people who may in fact want NATO to stick around and free them of the Taliban.

The Taliban are Afghanis who were born in Afghanistan and yes they have right to fight anyone who invades their country. Who do you think is the Taliban? Martians? Perhaps the froggies should not have started the French resistance during WW2 and allowed the Germans to free them.

No, I don’t celebrate in the least when innocent civilians die from frequent Yankee aerial bombing over Afghanistan and Pakistan in the last decade.

Yes, where being dumb is concerned, you only need to look at YOURSELF in the mirror. The Talaban originated amongst the Afghan refugees in Pakistan in the early 1990s during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. And they, as Afghan inhabitants, have less right to Afghanistan than Nato?????? Now methinks that’s real dumb !
