Such an act would be a rude violation of the principles of the technical negotiations. The question is whether it should be answered in kind.

JIhadist in KiM make their living by stealing cars in Europe - that was case already long time ago - that was really awkward pic in Srbica/Skeneraj to see shabby and unfinished jihadists` a 3-storey houses having on every floor stolen luxury cars/bikes with Eurpean license plates... they were confiscated but next day you had two new instead of the confiscated one. And their housebuilding - Muslims are aliens in Europe anyway but their attempts to evade taxes while not finishing their houses - exactly like Fakestinians in the ME or other Muslim Arabs do - and then they sit on the neck of other European tax-payers .

I have not seen those plates south of ibar, with exception of loris, and here and there few vehicles. So what, what is your point since you will not be able to use your desired plates?
(Agim Kelmendi, 1 June 2012 18:46)

They are there. It's hard for you to see them from your location in Brooklyn, but private citizens in Gracanica, Strpce, Kosovska Kamenica and Gnjilane use them :)

“Nothing like this was agreed in Brussels, neither publicly nor secretly, and this is a purely unilateral act of Priština's, which should absolutely be condemned,” he told Tanjug

Of course nothing like that was agreed because there is nothing to agree about something that UNMIK has decided. UNMIK decisions are the law of the land and are there to be implemented not to be agreed or disagreed. He is speaking as if he has any say about what happens in Kosovo - he forgets that UNMIK is in charge in Kosovo.

Rest assured, the northern part of KiM is fully integrated into Serbian institutions.

Sure, we saw last month how much the northern part of KiM cared about what Serbian institutions said :)

Most of them south of the Ibar use NP and VA prefixes anyway. And good law abiding Kosovar citizens of Serbian ethnicity can be dual citizens with "neighboring" Serbia :)

Blerim Camaj, the director of the Department of Registration and Civil Status with the Kosovo Interior Ministry, said that a great number of Serbs in Kosovo already had KS or RKS license plates.

“A total of 5,362 vehicles with KS or RKS license plates have been registered so far, 4,003 of which with RKS and 1,359 with KS plates. Including members of other minorities, 7,570 vehicles with RKS of KS plates have been registered,” he said.

LOL there are over 100,000 Serbs in Kosovo. 5,362 is hardly a "great number" :) I guess I can see the switch for practical reasons. No one wants to be pulled over by a poor KPS officer looking for a bribe for his struggling family instead of confiscating their plates. And no one wants to be harassed by trigger-finger Albanian "patriots" who will look for any reason to targets ordinary Serbs. Rexhepi is going to be one busy little tough guy trying to locate and arrest all the other 9,500 Serb "criminals" who will once again "endanger the the constitutional law and order" of Kosovo* by daring to drive with PR plates :)

The reality is that in the Albanian dominated sections, you'll mainly see the 01 plates whiles Serbs will generally take their plates off. I did see some old Yugoslav plates in the smaller Serb enclaves but mainly on old rusty cars.

Now in the Serbian dominated sections (i.e, Northern part of KiM), the cars had the newer Serbian plates (KM), while others drove around without plates on their cars.

Of course this action is Pristina simply venting its frustration that it has not achieved independence but the matter of plates has generally been resolved on the ground. Rest assured, the northern part of KiM is fully integrated into Serbian institutions.

A sad picture indeed. Just weeks before, that shiny Mercedes had been sporting the plates of some EU country, driven on real paved roads by its legal owner.
(Burt, 1 June 2012 10:25)

Sad comment!
You seem to know the rightful owner, and you are not reporting the "stolen vehicle"!???

It makes me wonder if it wouldn't be better for the provincinal police to start fighting ogranized crime and corruption instead of harassing Serbs?
