KFOR has long been gentile to the criminal cells of Serbs, who are responsible for the erecting of barricades in main roads of northern Kosova. It should be noted that local Serbs are really suffering from the criminal activities of those criminal cells: a Serbian mate of mine who used to live in Zubin Potok told me that his village is occupied by a multitude of Serbians who have come from Belgrade. A large number of local Serbs are more keen to admit the authority of Prishtina but they are scared to tell out the truth because criminal cells may wipe out them. I am mostly blaming KFOR for doing nothing in eliminating these criminals: I imagine if NATO were in Afghanistan or elsewhere, they would burn alive locals if they erect any barricade. I wonder why they tolerate so much serbian criminals? Are they a chosen people or what? In last instance, Prishtina should immediately intervene in north to protect its serbian citizens.

I just watched the short video to this story. It looks like a NATO tank is trying to cross a small bridge, and unarmed Serbs are not allowing it to pass. Why on earth are the troops firing their guns? Yes, it is in the air, but why fire at all? No one was attacking them. I see this as Western intimidation, trying to force Nikolic's hand, to see his response. He has stated that he will not be as agreeable as Tadic was, so the game of cat and mouse continues. The only difference is, we have a bunch of Serbian peasants, against the world's number one killing machine. What happened to dialogue?

Maybe you weren't born in 1999 yet, but for your information the war in 1999 started among UCK fighters and Serb police. Then Serb police started killing civilians (children, women, elderly). Why don't you go for a visit first and understand the situation on the ground? Firstly, go to Northern KiM and you will see it is fully integrated into Serbian structures. Then go for a visit to the South and observe all of the destroyed churches, desecrated graves and speak to Serbs attempting to return home who are harassed/shot by K*-Albanians.

Maybe then you will realise it is not the Serbs who are preventing peace but the K*-Albanians. They don't want to compromise, they want everything and to change the reality on the ground by intimidation. They won't stop in KiM either, they want FYROM also.

Do some research into allegations of the worst kind against the leaders of these people and you will again see, how can anyone negotiate with them? In a normal democracy, if such allegations were made, people resign from their position until it is cleared up.

Anyway, the West made a complete mess of the Balkans and have set the region back decades.

Having studied int relations at a top US university, it's clear that Nikolic has Just War cause to militarily invade Kosovo. However unbalanced power-play by NATO complicates this, thus the north should be integrated with Serbia.

The next talk should focus on resolving this issue so both sides can move on. Therefore I would propose the most logical:

All of Northern Kosovo stays in Serbia, including ALL of Kosovska Mitrovica. Gracanica becomes a UN-protected town, and the Republic of Kosovo gets full control of the rest, with full rights to the minority Serbs.

This compromise, I believe every moderate would agree to, and most importantly US/NATO would.

A small part of me believes even the Serbian leadership would. However I am almost certain Albanian leadership wouldn't.

This leads us to the hypothetical ultimatum: if Hasim Thaci rejects the deal, then Serbia will militarily intervene into Northern Kosovo with the blessing of NATO. Then Thaci can freely attempt a conflict in which the albanians will lose, and the Serbian military will have the opportunity to invade assert military authority over the rest of Kosovo.

(And P.S. If Thaci were to attack, NATO/US troops would declare neutrality and relinquish Kosovo)

However having said that, what you see in Kosovo today is only part of a game that the west thinks it can play. You see these events did not just occur randomly but you can track them clearly and they started right after Nikolic went to Moscow to attend Putin’s ceremony.
The question you have to ask is when will Vlad give the green light for the Serbs to take action? That is what the west fears.
NATO/KFOR/EULEX/REFLUX and all the other XXXs know that to do what you are suggesting would create an all out war situation and let this little old provocateur tell you something, the west is neither prepared nor has the capacity of the 1990s. Living off loans from China and Russia is not an ideal situation to start something you cant finish.

You don’t want to replicate Krajina. Just pay attention to Croatia today. Watch what Croatia has to do to repair the damage done by the likes of Gotovina. Zoran Milanovic did not come to power by accident – he was put there to start the ball rolling. Look at Josipovic, he was also placed as President. Croatia is not able to survive so it has to connect itself to Belgrade. Now as far as Kosovo goes……you can answer it yourself.

KFOR has long been gentile to the criminal cells of Serbs, who are responsible for the erecting of barricades in main roads of northern Kosova. It should be noted that local Serbs are really suffering from the criminal activities of those criminal cells: a Serbian mate of mine who used to live in Zubin Potok told me that his village is occupied by a multitude of Serbians who have come from Belgrade. A large number of local Serbs are more keen to admit the authority of Prishtina but they are scared to tell out the truth because criminal cells may wipe out them. Having studied int relations at a top US university, it's clear that Nikolic has Just War cause to militarily invade Kosovo. However unbalanced power-play by NATO complicates this, thus the north should be integrated with Serbia.

The next talk should focus on resolving this issue so both sides can move on. Therefore I would propose the most logical:

All of Northern Kosovo stays in Serbia, including ALL of Kosovska Mitrovica. Gracanica becomes a UN-protected town, and the Republic of Kosovo gets full control of the rest, with full rights to the minority Serbs.

This compromise, I believe every moderate would agree to, and most importantly US/NATO would.

A small part of me believes even the Serbian leadership would. However I am almost certain Albanian leadership wouldn't.

This leads us to the hypothetical ultimatum: if Hasim Thaci rejects the deal, then Serbia will militarily intervene into Northern Kosovo with the blessing of NATO. Then Thaci can freely attempt a conflict in which the albanians will lose, and the Serbian military will have the opportunity to invade assert military authority over the rest of Kosovo.

(And P.S. If Thaci were to attack, NATO/US troops would declare neutrality and relinquish Kosovo)

Why don't you go for a visit first and understand the situation on the ground? Firstly, go to Northern KiM and you will see it is fully integrated into Serbian structures. Then go for a visit to the South and observe all of the destroyed churches, desecrated graves and speak to Serbs attempting to return home who are harassed/shot by K*-Albanians.

Maybe then you will realise it is not the Serbs who are preventing peace but the K*-Albanians. They don't want to compromise, they want everything and to change the reality on the ground by intimidation. They won't stop in KiM either, they want FYROM also.

I just watched the short video to this story. It looks like a NATO tank is trying to cross a small bridge, and unarmed Serbs are not allowing it to pass. Why on earth are the troops firing their guns? Yes, it is in the air, but why fire at all? No one was attacking them. I see this as Western intimidation, trying to force Nikolic's hand, to see his response. He has stated that he will not be as agreeable as Tadic was, so the game of cat and mouse continues. You don’t want to replicate Krajina. Just pay attention to Croatia today. Watch what Croatia has to do to repair the damage done by the likes of Gotovina. Zoran Milanovic did not come to power by accident – he was put there to start the ball rolling. Look at Josipovic, he was also placed as President. Croatia is not able to survive so it has to connect itself to Belgrade. Now as far as Kosovo goes……you can answer it yourself.

Not sure what the big fuss is about.... Russia, China & co have mandated KFOR to ensure freedom of movement in Kosovo and hence KFOR removed something that was preventing movement; simple as that. Those who don't like that can go and complain to Russia, China & co.

However having said that, what you see in Kosovo today is only part of a game that the west thinks it can play. You see these events did not just occur randomly but you can track them clearly and they started right after Nikolic went to Moscow to attend Putin’s ceremony.
The question you have to ask is when will Vlad give the green light for the Serbs to take action? That is what the west fears.
NATO/KFOR/EULEX/REFLUX and all the other XXXs know that to do what you are suggesting would create an all out war situation and let this little old provocateur tell you something, the west is neither prepared nor has the capacity of the 1990s. Living off loans from China and Russia is not an ideal situation to start something you cant finish.

The US alone will reach over 17 trillion in debt by Christmas this year and the US economy has not grown from 14 trillion to 15 as they seem to report in the free media – I have never seem a contraction going in the positive. Here is something more for you, Mitt Romney made a statement that he should have; he said that by early next year (January 2013) the US will experience an even worse economic conditions “we are going deeper into the recession”. Naturally during an election year the freedom loving US government will continue to cook the books to make it look good.
