Great! Keep sending more weapons and enable the regime to execute more children. That's what Putin's democracy is about.

Compared to what America is doing in the region, it's nothing.
America is providing air power to help the other side and you whinge about shipment of arms?
Anyone America has helped so far has been the wrong side. Does anyone ask what happens to Christians of those lands once American darlings take power?
No wonder Albanians love Americans so much. America is helping to exterminate Christians.

Great powers will never change.
Their strategic interests always come before human rights.
Just few days ago we have seen another power resuming arms shipment to brutal Arab regime.

Amnesty International, May 16th, 2012 (Just few days ago)

"US resumes arms sales to Bahrain amid a human rights crisis."

Many may not be familiar with Bahrain story, because it was covered with silence, despite of condemning reports of Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and local human rights group who issued its own report, and had many of their members killed because of it. Their leader Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, was sentenced to life in prison for PEACEFUL PROTEST, and is now on a hunger strike for more then 100 days because of the targeting of his family by authorities.

Why such silence in the West?
Washington Post article explains it.

"PRESIDENT OBAMA has backed a NATO intervention to stop crimes against humanity in Libya, and he has denounced as “abhorrent” the bloody crackdown in Syria. But the president and his administration remain mostly silent about another ugly campaign of repression underway in the Arab world, in the Persian Gulf emirate of Bahrain."

Why really? Given that crackdown in Bahrain was very similar to Libya or Syria which are "abhorrent".
While crackdown was the same, protesters weren't.
