Do serbs really believe they will keep on pressuring forever ? Sooner or later they will get in like all those states that have accepted independence and once they recognize they never go back .There is only one way to go and that is up. I don't know why you keep bothering in the first place ?

Yes, the proud 'Kosovarian citizens' can apply for Albanian citizenship, and then they can participate in international matches as part of team Albania. Nobody would object to that. Btw, your famous Judo athlete Miss Kelmendi just did something similar, taking Albanian citizenship and competing for Albania in the Olympic games in London.

The allowance on playing friendly matches is something different, but I see no reason why a team of a self-proclaimed state should be allowed to compete with teams of real states.
(Comm. Parrisson, 1 June 2012 08:23)

You are correct; that's impossible because real states do not exist. All states are self-proclaimed, Serbia included :)

Indeed, flourishing. Kosovo managed to become Europe's main drug hub. That's an achievement, isn't it? Who would have thought some years ago that such an unimportant spot on the map could become such an important hub for mafia business? Congratulations, Kosovo!

@Leon
10 years later Kosova became independant - Actually not yet, Kosovo is still struggling for independence in the U.N., Sports organizatins etc. The only indeoendence comes from those ocuntries who have set up emabssies there and said that they recognize yet. However, there is still aways to go before the world looks at the Kosovo as they do Thailand, an indepoendent country.

flourshing with investments and developments - Really? You chose the word flourishing here? I think even the politicians in Kosovo, behind closed doors, would admit that the investments and developments ar enot 'flourishing'. C'mon, be a bit more realistic there.

It was always clear and obvious to everyone that Kosovo cannot join UEFA, because it's not a recognized country (UN member) which is required by UEFA statutes.

Relax serbia. Sooner or later Kosova will be in all organistations. When Kosova asked to be independent in the 90s, serbia laughed their butts off. 10 years later Kosova became independant and flourshing with investments and developments.

Hello Serbians, let me remind you all that this is not your main problem. Keeping Kosovo away from FIFA/UEFA will not strengthen your currency as it is falling faster than a star from the sky. This will not give you a good image to begin with. Clearly you guys are trying to hold on to anything you can, which indeed is pretty shallow. Once again, this is not what you should be focusing on. You guys need step up, not the other way around. Show manners, compassion, respect, and dignity. Come out of the communism shell, let go of hate. Its harming your own people more than anyone else. Kosovo Albanians are clearly winning here. Serbs ate losing. As more countries continue to recognize Kosovo, UN will soon too. Which will let Kosovo join everything then. Your choice, just stop crying and complaining about it when all that takes place.

Look behind the words folks. Consultation, lots of time, no press release. Sounds like a nice way of saying, we couldn't do sh.t but Kosova want join FIFA and UEFA yet, which of course we all know. Give it another decade though. There is not one argument that Serbia can make that showsthat Kosova playing international football damages Serbian football; not even one. Serbia's arguments come from a dark place of we were to speak in sports terms. Of course they are entirelly political. Kosova of course has furnished half of the Swiss team and half of the Albanian national team with players so it does have a strong case that it's football is being damaged.
