Tadic lost and that should be the end of it. However, Nikolic is not a man that is fit to be Serbias face abroad. He lacks language skills and the charisma to represent a country that currently has a lot of issues with various countries. Perhaps I'm wrong but the idea is to have Tadic stay in "power" and to represent our country internationally while Nikolic deals with the domestic audience. Or perhaps Tadic and Nikolic are the new Putin and Medvedev. Switching eachother off at every new election. Only time will tell.

just give me an answer with like ore dislike. Do you serbs consider normal the election of Tadic as the new PM? Personaly, i had sympathy for him, but after loosing the elections, whats the point? I really am courious about your thoughts. Like for the ones who agree and red arrow for the ones that thinks like me

Tiranaboy, I am a Serb-American from Chicago. I understand your question, and I tend to agree with your perspective. First Tadic says he won't be PM and then he accepts the nomination shortly thereafter. I think Tadic should have more respect for the will of the people than his personal ambition. Nevertheless, this is probably a good thing for the sake of national unity because he is popular with a large percentage of the population. You certainly ask an important question.

Tadic is not elected yet, but yes, it's perfectly normal in case DS and SPS form a coalition that the PM comes from the bigger party. And why not Tadic? It might be a bit strange that a president becomes PM - but at least it's not (yet) as shady as in Russia where a President becomes PM after two terms while the president's job is filled with a stooge in the meantime, and later, the same person becomes president again :)
