One has to notice the advantage of Croatia, which is able to attend the NATO summits and tell/make up/exaggerate/bend things/half truths/half lies/75% truths/say whatever it wants regarding Serbia to the other participants (USA, GERMANY, FRANCE, UK, TURKEY, etc etc). Albania is there as well, but I doubt its politicians have any balls left to play these games. Once Croatia gets in EU, the same things will be repeated. Raise the alarm regarding Serbia, weaken Serbia's position, get concessions from Serbia. Same thing Serbia is doing with respect to Kosovo in the places where it can go and Kosovo cannot go yet. E.g., FIFA.

What is she talking about ?
Serbia is a democratie and Croatia is not in a stand to give lessons to anyone.
It is known that Croatie have this superior comlex towards Serbia and think that they are not a balkan country.
Surprise surprise Croatias territory is part of it

Who gives a rat's backside what croatia thinks, what happens in Serbian politics in nothing to do with them so they should shut up and mind their own business. They talk about nationalism in Serbia yet the ustasha freely wave their banners and give the Hitler salute while their war criminals roam freely in croatia, nothing changes there eh!

Croatia, put your own damned house in order before you are critical of others you hypocrits!!

Agim, he was talking about Croatia not Albania ;)

The funiest part is that serbian try to represent my cousin like half serb hahaha. If we talk about any criminal...he is pure albanian. When we talk about succesful peple they are half serbian lol

I have read thet you can buy a house in serbia for 5.000 euro. I am planing to buy 10 or 15 hosues there. If it possible, in any vilage without serbs.

@Agim...not sure what you mean, Serbia placed better than Albania and the original post was about Croatia not making it.
@disgusted Chicagoen...I understand that the relationship with Russia may be stronger but how is it that Nikolic will bond closer with the EU than Tadic was?

@ Agim - Ha ha! You are obviously so wrapped up in your Albanian nationalism that you didn't notice that Serbia actually beat Albania by a very wide margin. It came third with 214 points vs 146 for Albania!

By the way, you do also realise that the Albanian singer was the butt of the most jokes internationally. Read the comments on Twitter. Apart from the Albanian diaspora, who thought she was brilliant and voted for her across Europe (I don't imagine the top place from Switzerland came from ordinary Swiss, do you?), everyone else thought she was just odd and rather scary. Some commentators warned people to keep their pets and children inside. :-)

Best twitter comment - 'Bjork has just switched off as this is too weird for her!'

Thank God for Nikolic!! Now that Tadic was defeated despite international efforts to defraud the citizens of Serbia... We have a statesman that will strive for justice and defend all Serbian citizens. No more western influence no more Nato games and last but not least Croatia should be worried... there are issues that need to be confronted with military force. Russia is strong and Croatia will be on its own!!

2.If the new government combats corruption ,organized political crime .and creates a stable ,safe society...then I'm sure the West and the eu would be fine with the Serbian Peoples Choice...
3.If there is a fear in the west...and I don't believe there is ...then it comes from the fear of rejection...the fear would be that we would be rejected from the" economical party"...we are tired of economical hypocrisy in the west...

Did I missed something here or you are not properly informed!? Albania took the fifth place, where was Serbia , AGAIN???
In case you did not know, the Albanian singer is from Mitrovica,Kosova.

Clearly you did, because Serbia came third...

While I am completely against a Greater Serbia ideology, I think that Nikolic will actually bring some reality to Croatian/Serbian relationship. As Nikolic alluded there is no brotherly love between Croatia and Serbia, only national self interest between the two regional competitors. He makes clear his ambitions on Croatia. Maybe Croatian politicians and government will finally wake-up from it's communist induced coma/fantasy dreamland and realize the threat to its national security and sovereignty. Mr. Nikolic, thanks for the doses of realism.

Huh? Did you watch the international version of the Albanian version? Sweden won, then Russia and then a close third was Serbia. So if another Serbian came fifth, then great. I mean, if Albania needs Serbian educated people to represent them, then so be it. I also heard a Serbian-Albanian will be representing them in the Olympics. Great really, it just goes to show how well you guys did under Serbia.

1.Stronger ties with Russia and the EU from a trade perspective will encourage western businesses to invest in Russia through Serbia...

New HDZ same as the old HDZ?

pre 11 godina

As long as no one mentions that the HDZ has just returned to power and their love for Franjo Tudjman was on show the first day when the PM returned a bust of him to his office. The real question is is this new HDZ going back to old HDZ or are they just loud mouths?
