The donors were from poor Eastern European and Central Asian countries, who were promised about EUR 15,000 to become organ donors. Donors??? I thought was Serb civilian.

This was the guy charged with finding donors and recipients and handling the payments - I wonder whether he told the rest of the group that he was not paying the donors? If he didn't, then the surgeon and the rest believed they were merely providing a service which happens to be technically illegal, but hardly evil. What I can't understand is if a man can sell sperm and a woman can bear somebody else's child, why should selling a kidney be illegal? Kidney transplants are done all over the world where the donor cannot be paid, but the surgeon and hospital can be (actually, have to be) - what kind of sense does that make?

what is more interessant is what about serbia and kidney transplant from civilians (bosnians and albanians) by your army surgeons? Is this the reason why it take so long to give back the bodies from batajnica to their relavtives? Time so that no one can prove the removal of their organs?

Well, it took so long only because he was released from detention in Kosovo. In this lawless state, it was easy for him to escape to Israel.

Well for the time being we cannot. But you know very well it is not because of any "Kosovars*"...in fact all of you could stand in front of Thaci and we would still get to him.

The problem is because of the countries protecting you that are strong enough to level the entire Balkans very easily.

Now the question is why would these foreigners protect such known criminals, organ extractors, sex slave traffickers and heroin dealers........I don't even want to know the answer to that question because if I did I would probably lose faith in humanity.

What's obvious though is that support and protection you get from them will not last forever.

3. You have to be able to prove that an operation such as this DID in fact take place, to date no one has.
4. You have to find credible witnesses that link such an operation to the KLA, so far none of the so called witnesses have had their credibility even tested.
5. Then you have to have some way to link officials in Kosovo to those crimes, again nothing to date.
The wishes and desires of people like you that these crimes were committed and by leaders of Kosovo will never be enough to convict them in any court other than an ultranationalist sham by some future govt of Serbia not interested in anything to do with the west, which I do not see happening in your life time.

You are right with your chain of things that have to be done. But for the same reasons, Milosevic wasn't convicted and some Serbs claim that he was a honorable person. The same goes for Seslj and Mladic. Even a court like the ICTY with all its power and influence has problems to connect all these chain links and find the accused guilty. And still the world knows... Being responsible and being guilty in front of a court are two pair of shoes. In these cases, unfortunately.

The one big difference in your argument is that there is little doubt that the crimes that the trio you mentioned are accepted fact and there is much evidence that the crimes occurred and the task before the court is to decide if they are responisible.
But with the organ harvesting, the immediate task is to determine "IF" these crimes actually existed and then to make a connection to yet unnamed persons.
Marty's report itself does not say the crimes "were" committed only that there was evidence to support an investigation. But he did say that "IF" these allegations were true it was unlikely that they amounted to anywhere close to the scale that Serbia alleges, and that victims would be in the tens and not hundreds. But so far there have been no victim determined.
