109,000 Serbs eligible to vote in Kosovo (age 18 and Older) + 41,000 Children (Under 18) = 150,000 people.

If you take Military + Police in Kosovo and their families = 75K easy they are not allowed in Kosovo as there is Kumanovo agreement.

25,000 do not want to live in Kosovo have immigrated to EU/USA/Serbia/Australia and maybe 1000 to Russia no more.

it brings you to 250,000 SERBS living in Kosovo before the war, Displaced people from Croatia where not counted.

So maybe there are some Serbs still out there willing to return but no more than 10K and only if they get double pay.

I am a Serb and I dont give a damn about Kosovo. My father and grandfather fought in Kosovo but we left after we realised every other serb chose to sell their homes and not fight. Not one Serb since 1999 has gone back into Albanian Kosovo south and started attackin Albanians. Serbs in Nothern KOsovo are putting up a sissy fight but out of the 11 million people in Serbia proper, and 1 million Serbs in Republika Srpska, not 1 has come to help. As Gen. Nebojsa Pavkovic said " if we dont want to defend Kosovo, we don't deserve to have it"

Yet again, further examples of albanian terrorism in Kosovo. I mean really? the albanian trolls are already out to deny/make excuses for this, or even raise other issues to try and steer attention from this.

Let this be clear to the albanians, Serbs are still in Kosovo, and NOTHING you do will drive them all out, so as brutal and sick your methods are they won't work in the bigger picture. All you are doing is causing more hate to gather.

This has to be the most ubsurd statement that I have ever read on this site. Dardan my only question is what Kosovar tax payer? You mean the EU and US tax payer. Don't even get me started on freeloaders, I guess the Serbs learned from the best freeloaders (Albanians).

I don't understand why serbs care about Kosovo?

I am a Serb and I dont give a damn about Kosovo. My father and grandfather fought in Kosovo but we left after we realised every other serb chose to sell their homes and not fight. Not one Serb since 1999 has gone back into Albanian Kosovo south and started attackin Albanians. Serbs in Nothern KOsovo are putting up a sissy fight but out of the 11 million people in Serbia proper, and 1 million Serbs in Republika Srpska, not 1 has come to help. As Gen. Nebojsa Pavkovic said " if we dont want to defend Kosovo, we don't deserve to have it"

just give north kosovo to serbia take preseva valley and everyone will win something and nobody will be a loser , it`s something not everybody sees as a perfect solution but we`ve to admit it`s the best one and the most realistic, peace.

If it`s not then which one is it? Give your ideas which could suit both sides as an acceptable solution, until some strong democratic (not nationalists) politicians come in the gov of both sides , both serbia and kosovo will be far away from getting further into eu and western civilization.

OK, but then I have to say that Albanians vice versa dont belong to Serbia, Macedonia or Montenegro.

I've always found it funny how the majority of Muslim countries support Serbia and most countires to have recognized Kosova are Christian. It never ceases to amaze me how hard Serbia appeals to the blatent anti-Americanism of Islamic states to keep them from recognizing Kosova yet at the same time plays on this supposed Albanian Muslim extrimism to argue agaisnt independence.

Serbs in Kosovo live in horrible conditions? define horrible. its ironic that Serbs fight against Kosovo but take money from Kosovo. we had, not a while back, the Serb minister for Kosovo asking that Northern Kosovo Serbs stop taking remuneration from Prishtina (what they are getting paid for is unknown to me). did they agree? of course not, why should they? better to get paid from both Belgrade and Prishtina and disrupt Kosovo then have one income. what prishtina needs to do is stop sending money to them, so that if they want to be 'brave ' they do with their own cash, not Kosovo's

I am amazed at the number of Albanian trolls that continually come on a Serbian website to try and torment and argue with people on here.

Pardon me if I'm in engaged in some type of fantasy but let's suppose that if a filmmaker or potential filmmaker from Kosovo or even Albania wants to create a film titled 'Captain Kosovo' (the Kosovar version of Captain America) provided the filmmaker is not violating the copyright act and therefore may require permission from the creator or producer(s) of Captain America to produce or create the 'Captain Kosovo' film.

Now let's get to the point shall we, if suppose Captain Kosovo's prime and apparent objective is to defend Kosovo to the "max" and let's supposed that if he or she had SOME Serbian adversaries but makes it clear that combating his or her Serb adversaries DOESN'T "translate" into branding every Serb the enemy and therefore NOT expelling all ethnic Serbs.

So that's the question if a hypothetical Captain Kosovo film is what I imagine it to be than is it a safe bet that such a hypothetical film is not considered promoting Albanian extremism? But I will add by saying that if Captain Kosovo had Albanian adversaries who have their own brigade I'd laugh if Captain Kosovo demeans this brigade by referring to them as the "Budalla Brigade" (from I researched the word budalla is the Albanian word for fool and/or idiot.) I actually got the idea from viewing a show about a World War 2 Japanese suicide weapon called the oka bomb ( I believe oka means cherry blossom ) but the Americans nicknamed it the "baka bomb" where baka means idiot in Japanese.Now you readers know!

There is no investigation carried out yet in determining the cause of fire. And for all you know know it might be a pure accident with electric heaters, appliances or wiring.

Is it newsworthy? You can read a similar story every second month. Looting/destroying Sebian houses and churches is a common habit for the 'young Europeans' living in the multi-ethnic and democratic state of Kosovo
