Now Vladimir Vladimirovich, how about putting your money where your mouth is, or at least military aid.
A functional Serbian army and a pronounced Russian military presence in the Balkans are the only incentives capable of forcing the Kalbenians to negotiate in good faith and providing a credible diterent to Albanian ambitions in the region . Even the Europeans will see in time that it represents the best, and for them the cheapest, opportunity for stability in the area.
And the fact that it would mean a good number of jobs, both in the military and the industries that support it, can't hurt.

"From reading all the drivel from the mainstream media today, it is very obvious that the US of A is pissed with this result, which is great news for Serbia. "

If this will be 'great news' for Serbia only time will tell - in some years. Though, the president in Serbia is not as important as the prime minister/government. We'll see, but I don't see what Nicolic could do better than Tadic.

Ecoman what on earth are you talking about? The only reason Kosovo is Serbia today is because of Russia. The west is bankrupt, they are now living on borrowed time and money. Russia is rich with the resources the world needs, is a loyal brother and friend, and is the future. The people who bombed Serbia are not her friends, and if Nikolic is smart he will show them all the finger. Serbia needs real friends, not people who want to suck her blood and exploit.

Putin is very pleased with the results and I would say he may have had a hand in them too. I hazzard a guess and say theat the United States Windbags is really pissed off, but Washington has to understand that its no longer a power in the region despite telling its people that all is well.

Putin, boy a face that only a mother could love. He exudes such warmth, who needs klima? As for a Russian Serbian alliance, I pray that Serbia does not get what it asks for. The West is closely tied to the World's monetary funds, not Russia, and let's face it, money makes the world go round. If Nikolic goes under the sheets with the Kremlin, it may be a troubled sleep, filled with persistent nightmares.
