Mike C,

Your reading comprehension skills need improving.

The following is from B92:

"The election will again be administered solely by the OSCE representatives, around 500 of them, who will after the close of polls transport the election materials to the count centers in the southern Serbian towns of Raška and Vranje."

Although you may refuse to believe it, unfortunately for you, it is true.
Serbia played no role in organizing the election today in Kosovo.

I wonder if you give a thought to what you are writing? Serbia is organizing voting in Kosovo and you say Kosovo is not Serbia. I don't see Serbia organizing the same voting process in Sweden or Germany. What conclusion could be drawn from that do you think?
(MikeC, 20 May 2012 14:09)

I think you've missed some news... Serbia presidential elections are being held in Serbia, Kosovo, South Africa, etc... The only difference is that while they are being organized directly by Serbia in Serbia, South Africa, etc..., they are organized by the OSCE in Kosovo. So even South Africa is more Serbia than what Kosovo is - at least in South Africa Serbia can directly organize elections :)

"I am no making up the numbers this is Serbian Lists given to OSCE. Most Serbs have sold their property in Kosovo their choice."
(GJakovari, 19 May 2012 18:50)

These voter lists don't say anything about displaced persons and who was expelled and who choose to move to another town on their own. It list the number of Serbs currently eligible for voting in Kosovo, anything else are your (wrong) interpretations.
(Comm. Parrisson, 20 May 2012 08:59)

Well its saying there are 109K people elegible to vote this means 18 and older?

THe rest was just natural progresion just like number of Albanins has fallen in Presevo or Bujnovc, people move for many reasons ( many K- Albanins moved as well)

As I know for a facet a family lawyer used to go to Serbia to complet the documents after the war when Serbs sold homes in Cash and it got verefied in Jagodina where Gjakova's Serbian administration moved.

There is no Serbian property not sold in Gjakova except the church where 1 elderly woman lives.

in Gjakova before displaced people from Croatia came was 6000 Serbs and then to 15k with Croatian Serbs.

this is very simple as they did burn half of old city and kill 100s but we still bought their property, this is just one city.

You see 109K voters must have children so easelty bring the number to 150K.

another example is that Serbs got scholarship to go to USA and do MBA and return to Kosovo but they after they finish move to Belgrade :) even though its agains the rule!!!

THe numbers might not be perfect but they come close to reality there where only 250K Serbs in Kosovo and with at least 40K as Police thatmakes it 80K with their wives and 100K with children so as you see its very natural calculation.

When I hear Serbs say 250 displaced that is not possible.

Kosovo is a RUPA
Serbs built it into a beautiful place with amazing churches and the Muslim Albanians destroyed it and turned it into the scum area that it is.

These elections were organized under NEGOTIATIONS from the troika Pristina-Belgrade-OSCE. Another case-in-point that anything can be negotiated, even the so called "international law" --- a key example which is what serbs seem to shout monstrously is the r1244.

What the minorities should be cautious is the secret concessions their so called "representatives" are conceding behind closed doors. Who is to say what Pristina will gain after these elections are completed?

Don't forget that since last year the government in Pristina has gained a lot of power in this area and increasingly is preparing to dissolve the parallel institutions and introduce this lawless area to rule of law.

If the minorities do not come to the table soon with their government (Pristina) they will risk being another concession away from totalitarianism under those pesky Albanians.

^^^ This is my analysis, no insult intended. ^^^

Sincerely,

Paul

It is getting easier and easier to see that the Albanians can't govern themselves alone, especially not in Kosovo. Allowing them to oversee elections will be highly educational and serve to advance the cause of democracy and representation in government among Albanians. Especially at the hands of and observing Serbs with their rich and proven experience with representive government.

As long as these "police" are under the watchful eye of KFOR, the Serbs have nothing to worry about.

Absurd calculations, must be same mathematics that allows 115% of the voters voting for Thaci. Displaced Serbs that were expelled/fled/moved away from Kosovo are voting at the place they are currently living, and not are not eligible to vote in Kosovo.

Hoti told Tanjug on Saturday that KPS members would be present in the vicinity of the polling stations, as it was the case on May 6, so as to ensure the preservation of public order and peace.

He added that 37 polling stations would be open at 13 locations in northern Kosovo and the Kosovska Mitrovica District, and that the KPS would cover all locations, at which OSCE staff would run the voting process.

According to the OSCE data, around 109,000 people are entitled to vote in the run-off election.

So 109,000 People above age 18 and let say 41,000 people under 18 = 150K Serbs in Kosovo.

We all know people move for better opportunity ( all over the world ) lets say 75K.

Lets say 25K People do not want to live in Kosovo as they where involved in 1990's

It looks like there are not so many people displaced in Kosovo at least from Serbian population.

there is a saying do not ask them they will on their own prove it for you.

Have a great weekend.
