Well, let me correct you Mr. Minister. PM Berisha never said anything about the unification of Albanians. Second, there are only a few nationalists in Albania that would like to see a single state including Kosovo inside Albania. This is more than true. You don't know the reality Mr. Minister.
Third, our 'dear" PM Berisha has been accused very seriously of being during and after the communist regime as a spy of the UDBA (or as we say it in Albanian "UDB". His mother is law was Serbian, her name was Milica, and the sister of this lady was a OZNA officer. And this is also documented. There were several public accusations on this regard made by the Albanian opposition in the parliament, so what I say is not gossip but serious accusations.
Dear Mr. Minister and Serbian people, do you know how much are the Serbian investments in Albanian??? Of course you dont know, but Serbian investors (some of them linked to Miloshevic time) are hugely investing in the energy sector in the biggest harbor of Durres. THis is also a fact and not a gossip.
So please stop saying that Albanians are working for a big Albania. I have been several times in Belgrade, I love the city and I have Serbian friends. therefore stop telling your people things that are not true just to provoke nationalism issues during the political elections.
I believe honest serbian and albanian people just want peace, trade and to live a nice life. It is you, or better say the politicians who create false issues.

Firstly, there is no money to sustain a greater Albania and if the locals think that the Europeans are going to close schools, hospitals and reduce expenditure so they can fund such a silly idea then good luck and have your fantasy because that is all it is. What people have to learn is you need money to make it happen and Albania is so poor that it makes Somalia look like California before the GFC. Wishing and something actually happening are two very different things.

So I got it now that the smart West managed again to get the poor Chinese to help the rich Westeners, whereas the average Chinese is (according to you) so poor since it is at about the same level as the average Albanian (i.e. at about USD 8400 per capita at PPP; just 9% higher than Albania's). The west considers Greece as the cradle of western civilization and even if they get thrown out of the EU they will have a higher regard for Greeks than an Albanian or Turk for that matter. As far as joining Serbia in no man’s land, then I welcome them with open arms as they were loyal to Serbs during our worst times. But I can assure you that Greece will not see the door but stay in the EU.
On the issue of Turkey, it has a vibrant economy around Istanbul and Ankara while the rest is a horse and carriage economy. Its military is little more than a glorified police force that is only good at crowd control – much like Indonesia – Its forces went inti Iraq after the Kurds and all they got is body bags by the dozen. The Turkish military relies on hand me downs and donations from the west as Turkey does not have the money to buy equipment.
Turkey has had an application to join the EU for over two decades and still no entry. Have you for moment thought why? Ask the Germans what they think of having 2 million Turks and how far have these people progressed since coming to Germany? About 12 months ago a former high ranking government official published a book on the subject that stated that these people do not assimilate and the vast, vast majority remain on social security and the only visible contribution they make are as fruit and vegetable vendors.

If you read my posting,which you haven't,I don't mention religion at all.I was only commenting on Berisha's statement and also on statements made by Albanian politicians in the past regarding"greater Albania" and the usual Albanian myths on this site as being "Illyrian" descendants.Do we live with the myths or expose them?I will go for the latter.

BTW The worst insult for any orthodox Arvanite is to call him Albanian.

There is no such thing as a greater Albania nor will there ever be such an entity regardless of what the Albanians think.
Firstly, there is no money to sustain a greater Albania and if the locals think that the Europeans are going to close schools, hospitals and reduce expenditure so they can fund such a silly idea then good luck and have your fantasy because that is all it is. What people have to learn is you need money to make it happen and Albania is so poor that it makes Somalia look like California before the GFC. Wishing and something actually happening are two very different things.
Secondly, the EU will never allow a large Islamic country to form in its borders and for those that have other ideas just ask how long will it take Turkey to join the European family and when the words of never come to mind then you have your answer.

Serbs say " we want an independent Republika Srpska "bs! they want a time limited independence. 2-3 years of an independent Republika Srpska then they will be part of Serbia, A bigger serbia, one step closer to create a greater serbia.

Either create a Balkan federation, where all nations involved would be united in a single entity and would thus resolve the minority issues, or leave it as it is now. Nothing like "Greater Serbia", Greater Albania", "Unified Macedonia" is acceptable.

Well, let me correct you Mr. Minister. PM Berisha never said anything about the unification of Albanians. Second, there are only a few nationalists in Albania that would like to see a single state including Kosovo inside Albania. This is more than true. You don't know the reality Mr. Minister.
Third, our 'dear" PM Berisha has been accused very seriously of being during and after the communist regime as a spy of the UDBA (or as we say it in Albanian "UDB". His mother is law was Serbian, her name was Milica, and the sister of this lady was a OZNA officer. And this is also documented. There were several public accusations on this regard made by the Albanian opposition in the parliament, so what I say is not gossip but serious accusations.
Dear Mr. Minister and Serbian people, do you know how much are the Serbian investments in Albanian??? Of course you dont know, but Serbian investors (some of them linked to Miloshevic time) are hugely investing in the energy sector in the biggest harbor of Durres. THis is also a fact and not a gossip.
So please stop saying that Albanians are working for a big Albania. I have been several times in Belgrade, I love the city and I have Serbian friends. therefore stop telling your people things that are not true just to provoke nationalism issues during the political elections.

So I got it now that the smart West managed again to get the poor Chinese to help the rich Westeners, whereas the average Chinese is (according to you) so poor since it is at about the same level as the average Albanian (i.e. at about USD 8400 per capita at PPP; just 9% higher than Albania's). I agree that the Westeners should be happy about that and who cares about the average Chinese person living at about the level of Albanians... The west considers Greece as the cradle of western civilization and even if they get thrown out of the EU they will have a higher regard for Greeks than an Albanian or Turk for that matter. As far as joining Serbia in no man’s land, then I welcome them with open arms as they were loyal to Serbs during our worst times. But I can assure you that Greece will not see the door but stay in the EU.
On the issue of Turkey, it has a vibrant economy around Istanbul and Ankara while the rest is a horse and carriage economy. Its military is little more than a glorified police force that is only good at crowd control – much like Indonesia – Its forces went inti Iraq after the Kurds and all they got is body bags by the dozen. The Turkish military relies on hand me downs and donations from the west as Turkey does not have the money to buy equipment.
Turkey has had an application to join the EU for over two decades and still no entry. Have you for moment thought why? Ask the Germans what they think of having 2 million Turks and how far have these people progressed since coming to Germany? About 12 months ago a former high ranking government official published a book on the subject that stated that these people do not assimilate and the vast, vast majority remain on social security and the only visible contribution they make are as fruit and vegetable vendors.
