20 years since massacre of ambushed JNA troops

Still no justice for this crime, it seems that Bosnian Muslims are in the majority of cases able to evade any sort of trial and punishment, but their days will come.

Yes, their day will come and justice will be done for their crime against those murdered soldiers.

The country was called Yugoslavia it was a multi-ethnic country and the JNA troops weren't composed of just serbs, my uncle was in HVO and guess where he got his training from, the Yugoslav army.. you dolt. Its too bad Yugoslavia couldn't go in the way of Czechoslovakia, a very small group of extremists from all sides caused so much paranoia and fear - poured gasoline on the fire only so that they can benefit from it. What bothers me is that every country in the region wants to join to morally and soon to be (financially) bankrupt EU union, so that they can all live together again without borders, when they already had that.. Our people are easily divided and now we're just a bunch of banana republics used as pawns. No reconciliation can happen unless all crimes are punished, and this was definitely a crime.

This was a massacre and a crime because they were unarmed retreating soldiers under agreement, therefore they posed no threat at all. This was well known by the muslims, yet they still conducted what was an utterly cowardly attack on soldiers who were not going to engage in battle, indeed these kinds of attacks are the only ones where muslims actually managed to pull it off, they never did and still dont have the balls to fight off Serbs when the Serbs are actually fighting back. I'm not sure why NATO, or wesley clark for that matter are feeling so high and nightly, the US and NATO are loosing and have LOST in both IRAQ and Afghanistan against some tribal elders. Tell us, was it worth the death of 10,000 soldiers, 100,000 wounded, countless physiological and emotional damage, not to mention $2,000,000,000,000 in funding you DON"T have. You will loose in Bosnia and Kosovo as well, bc you won't have the funds for another wag the dog war nor the staying power or interest level..and hopefully in the not too distance future, families unwilling to sacrifice their sons and daughters for another useless war.

Yugoslavia could never last. Slovenes, Croats, Macedonians, Hungarians, Romanians, Albanians, Sinti, Bosniaks would sooner or later grow sick and tired of being dominated by Serbs and Montenegrins. Even Montenegro decided democratically to leave the union with Serbia. Yugoslavia was always bound to break up, EU zone will also.

This is no massacre, it's a legitimate target. The real massacre happened 3 years and 10 days later when the Serb cowards killed 71 civilians. If only Radovan and Ratko would of listened to me and ratified the Athens document, Vance-Owen.....

They were withdrawing from there due to an AGREEMENT reached which UN brokered with the Muslims.
Serbs kept their part of the bargain but of course Muslims, like usual, did not.
Why don't you read General Lewis MaCKenzie's book titled "Peacekeeper, the road to Sarajevo" where he talks about this. You just might learn something.

The accounts of both these crimes, Volunteer Street and the Tuzla convoy, would benefit from some consistency with the numbers. Even in this one article there are three different figures quoted. The problem with this is that an otherwise very serious crime is given an air of farce with the impression gained that numbers are being plucked out of the air. Surely it must be known how many soldiers were killed even if the civilian casualities are not known. The victims' families deserve better.

Breaking up like CZ and Slo would have been impossible as Serbs could not see them selves living in any other state and thy wanted to create Big Serbia. If they di accept to be Part of Crotia as Z4 plan ( I know all the other states had nationalist not arguing that) but Serbs where the common denominator in all Ex YU wars.

Even today in Montenegro they do not accept the reality and talk of Montenegro as Serbian land.

If you were a uniform your a legitimate target it's as simple as that...The retreating Serbs should have taken off their dreaded JNA uniforms and jumped on buses instead.
