"I don't expect you too admit that there's a chance that Serbs were involved in election fraud in a public forum where there are Albanians since your pride doesn't allow you to do that. You cant yet accept this yet in public cuz it goes against everything you've been writing for a while now. "
(Johny, 11 May 2012 01:46)

I don't have a problem to admit that there MIGHT have been some election irregularities in Serbia. I only said that so far, it was only an opposition party that CLAIMED it. In total contrast to Kosovo, where all possible kind of election fraud has been reported from several observers, independently. And these frauds haven't been only replaced ballots, but bought voters, intimidated voters, and so on. The 'funniest' thing for me was that in his home region, your 'gentleman' and 'prime minister' Thaci was 'elected with 115% of the votes (or so). Some people should have payed better attention in mathematic classes at school :)

Dragan ironic? Heh, that was unfortunate mistake on your part. Surely you don't mean to suggest that an otporist would not celebrate a fraudulent election? For irony to be involved would suggest that 'otporists' are principled!

As for LDP, it might not be 5 years before they are in government, could be more like 5 working days. I just know you won't be able to hold back the tears then. Never mind, one day Toma might make the grade - don't tell me you didn't have a lot of love for the guy when he led SRS. I know the romance has worn off a little, but it surely would take much for you to rekindle the flames of passion...

Dragan you just sound butt hurt about the election result my friend. Don't worry in time you will get over it. Hang on for another 5 years or so and maybe Nikolic will get in then!
(bganon, 11 May 2012 16:50)

Ummm, read below my hypocrite genius friend, I'm no fan of Nikolic. You'll be waiting much more than 5 years before your beloved LDP ever gets powerful. I find it ironic that a proud otporist like bganon is going to celebrate a fraudulent election. Hypocrisy at its best!

There is no evidence that it was a 'big deal'. The story is that thousands of ballot papers were found in containers in an unnamed location from unknown constituencies, found by somebody unknown - allegedly produced in Poland and transported over the Hungarian border. That is a flimsy story at best, and it should be easy to prove or disprove.

Dragan as a Canadian I don't expect you know that Serbia is actually in Europe!

Yes, Serbians are a European people, no we are not in the EU.

And I'm glad to know that you respect elections that deliver a result that you are unhappy with.
(bganon, 11 May 2012 14:20)

Yeah, I was born in Serbia, so I'm well aware that it is in Europe. I also have dual citizenship, so I'm a Serbian as well. And yes, I respect the results of free and fair elections. What I don't respect is stolen elections by Tadic's yellow quislings, and it seems you do. You are a hypocrite, you would be up in arms and marching the strets if SNS or anyone on the right won the elections and there was evidence of fraud (and Madeline Albright would be very proud of you, as she funded your otpor demonstrations in the past). But here you are, saying 'no big deal'. Yep, just as I suspected, you're a total hypocrite who really doesn't know what you stand for. Ignorance is bliss, isn't it bganon?
Cheers!!

Peggy, of course bganon accepts the results, she didn't get the orders from Washington to start demonstrating. Until she is told by outsiders what to do, she accepts. People like bganon don't care about free and fair elections, democracy, they just want to transform from being Serbian to being a 'European', whatever that means. Thank God the EU will fall apart well before Serbia gets there.

Jovan,

I am Slovene. I was born in Belgrade, I live here and I work for here for a living.

Now, it seems to me that Nikolic is grasping at straws here as i doubt that the irregularities (even if they are some) are that significant to affect the outcome of the election. Even though all allegations must be investigated but I think overall it was a clean race.

bganon

pre 11 godina

Peggy, for the time being yes I do. At the same time I'm sure there are some irregularities, but it isn't something that would affect the overall result to any great degree - certainly not the 10% or so that SNS are claiming they were robbed of.

Jovan

pre 11 godina

well, it seems that something went wrong here, ...and I don´t think that those papers were just pulled out of a magicians hat. so there has to be some investigation about it.

@Janez: you didn´t lose one single word about these papers which were found in the garbage. is there a reason for omitting some words about that in your comment?

as for your nickname, ...doesn´t sound quite serbian, actually. just another k-albanian troll who´s using foreign nicknames in order to create the impression of foreign support for the Albanians or the lack of unity among the Serbs? well, I think you failed. miserably.

and in regard to all thos smarties who are "smelling" some conspiracy "theory"... why don´t you get a life down there in southern Serbia, ...do not hang around in cafe´s, playing with your keychain or cell-phones... and instead educate yourself in order to be capable of working for your own living. ( instead of being dependent of foreign money )?

you K-albanians should try to adjust yourselves to that day in the future, when Serbia takes over again, because otherwise you won´t have anything to live of ( except you leave for western europe then, to make some drug-money, like many of your comrades already are doing in western capitals ).

it seems to me that it is not Dragan, who should shut up, but rather you kiddies who are trying to belittle these allegations, since that shows your prematurity in regard to that issue.

if you are an Albanian you should just be quiet because you are not really known to be very familiar to democracy at all.

if you are a Tadić-fan you should be ashamed, that your socalled "democrats" seem to need dirty tricks to stay in power...

and before you start your laughable shitstorm here: I am no Nikolić-fan either, since he is a western puppet too.

the SNS is a foreign-supported project aimed at weakening the SRS, and keeping them away from power in Belgrade. that´s no secret, I guess.

let´s just see what future brings! I do not think that tricks like these will prevent Serbia from raising again.

The same story happened in Romania: DP candidate, Traian Basescu, won with the help of the secret service, forging the votes from the romanian citizens in abroad. Off-course, in the name of EU, democracy, bla, bla.

We all remember when Nikolic went on hunger strike because things weren't going his way. Now because the elections didn't go his way he claims fraud!
This is typical of his character. He is spiteful and infantile and definitely not fit to rule.

(bganon, 10 May 2012 18:40)

I don’t think this is the result of SNS investigation but possibly a minor party. Either way the announcement may have a political motivation or the notion that the people need to rapidly know what’s going on. If it is political motivation only, then it is no different to Tadic opening a bridge or Dacic arresting war criminals during the electioneer blackout.

What is certain is that there was foul play in Zajecar and more may be announced as information is accompanied by evidence.

Poland has always had an interest and close relations with Serbia politics. Nacertanije is a prime example, Poland has expressed a historic interest in keeping Serbia from having close relations with Russia.

The 15% figure is dramatised and although possible it seems most unlikely that it would have been that high. What is more realistic to believe is that the SRS and Dveri might have been cut off from the 5% threshold with the URS and other minor parties benefiting. Definitely there needs to be an investigation.

"The sack, said Nikolić, contained 3,000 original ballot papers that the citizens used to vote on May 6 - but which were after the polls closed "thrown into garbage dumpsters". "

SNS has gotten very low if it has started to search for votes in garbage dumpsters.
DS has gotten very stupid if they really threw votes in the dumpsters. They should have burned them.

Johny

pre 11 godina

Yes, haha. These accusations so far came only from an opposition party - nothing unusual. OSCE assesses elections in Serbia as fair and noticed no major irregularities - while OSCE and all other international observers reported dozens of cases of massive election fraud in Kosovo last year (faked ballots, payed voters, double voting, election lists with dead people on it, intimidated voters .. simply everything that's needed when you want to manipulate elections :)
(Comm. Parrisson, 10 May 2012 19:53)

-- You're trying too hard man. Quit it. It's been done in the past. Milosevic was doing it until his last breath. Just because that one person left, doesn't mean 50 years of communism and it's ways were cleansed. Those who stole then steal now. If everything gets stolen in the country through high corruption what makes you think they will stop at election and stop stealing power? Especially since this was done in the past.

P.S Don't trust the OSCE too much. As a matter of fact don't trust anything too much. A dose of skepticism is always good. I don't expect you too admit that there's a chance that Serbs were involved in election fraud in a public forum where there are Albanians since your pride doesn't allow you to do that. You cant yet accept this yet in public cuz it goes against everything you've been writing for a while now. But when you're alone and aren't publishing your thoughts, be a skeptic and question everything. This is true about everything you read or hear.

Dragan you forgot to include Obraz and Nacionalni Stroj among the Serbian organisations and parties you support!

The outrage? Right now its hard to keep a straight face with those on the hard rightists competing to see who can make a bigger fool of themselves. They were always a bunch of losers and this is why Sloba managed to play them for a decade and why 'democrats' continue to beat them under the current system.

The answers don't come from the hard right in Serbia, just as the answers don't come from the Republican party / KKK, or that Palin woman in the US. Rather they come from organisations such as Occupy, which do not count hooligans, skinheads and so on among their number.

Fighting for democracy? Well I thought that democracy was to vote in a free election, not to go to war.

We had an election and obviously you don't like the results. Suck it up for another 4/5 years and pray that in your dreams an extreme right wing party will come to power in Serbia. It won't, but don't give up!

Zoran

pre 11 godina

Let me just say that of course Nikolic is speaking the truth. Of course these elections were rigged and the reason he is saying this now is simply because he was played the fool and he finally realises it.

You see, he was promised victory and he would sell himself for it, which he has already done. But now he has nothing. He was leading a party that could command almost 40% of the votes and the way things have turned out, he can't even get 25%. His actions killed 15% of the vote by being stupid while Tadic and other partners in crimes planned the destruction of the patriotic vote.

Put it this way, Dveri were the destroyers. Who created this party? Think about it! As they say, the devil is in the detail.

Says the man who kisses his Tito poster every day. People like you who supported 'brotherhood and unity', gave away Kosovo (by making it autonomous and letting albanian flood in), made Vojvodina autonomous, didn't make Krajina autonomous, made Croatia bigger after WWII even though they lost the war and committed genocide, made the Bosnians a 'nation', made a fake province and called it 'Macedonia' (even though Macedonians are Greeks), gave away Serbian raw materials for cheap to Slovenia and Croatia, ruined the relationship with Russia while befriending Germany, drew a border on the Drina, betrayed Krajina Serbs....you want me to go on? Yeah, you and your ilk ruined Serbia, almost completely ruined it and gave it away. You communists/socialists are the last ones to talk about patriotism, because you have none and all you care about is your own derriere. Sad but true. Serbs are their own worst enemies.
Oh, and your hero Dacic, he was clinking glasses and celebrating with EU officials at the capture of Ratko Mladic and sending him to the gallows. He's a scumbag and a traitor - period.

Also why would the fake ballots be printed in Poland? If the ruling authorities were collaborating in this then surely they would have used government printing presses?
He's a scumbag and a traitor - period.

well, it seems that something went wrong here, ...and I don´t think that those papers were just pulled out of a magicians hat. so there has to be some investigation about it.

P.S Don't trust the OSCE too much. As a matter of fact don't trust anything too much. A dose of skepticism is always good.

Hmm, now I wonder if these accusations would have been made if there wasn't the final round of Presidential elections to be held in under 2 weeks?

I'm not at all convinced by a number of ballot papers, unless the one's making the accusations can tell us which constituency the papers were taken from.

Also why would the fake ballots be printed in Poland? If the ruling authorities were collaborating in this then surely they would have used government printing presses? Additionally if the fake ballots were printed elsewhere under close inspection we should be able to see which are fake and which aren't.

Finally I don't know where they got this 15 percent lead figure over DS. I can't remember seeing one opinion poll stating this and it seems highly unrealistic. This is typical of his character. He is spiteful and infantile and definitely not fit to rule.

Cheers!!

Cheers!!

well, it seems that something went wrong here, ...and I don´t think that those papers were just pulled out of a magicians hat. so there has to be some investigation about it.

Issue is very important, and in the end somebody should end up in jail, one way or the other.

Enough playing with minds of Serbian citizens!

It should be investigated promptly, and if it proves correct accusation, organizers should serve time. Big time!
If it proves wrongful accusations, Nikolic and his entire leadership should be in line for big time!

Worst thing would be to let it be forgotten. It would mean that in Serbia we are not entitled to know the truth.

The same story happened in Romania: DP candidate, Traian Basescu, won with the help of the secret service, forging the votes from the romanian citizens in abroad. Off-course, in the name of EU, democracy, bla, bla.

We had an election and obviously you don't like the results. Suck it up for another 4/5 years and pray that in your dreams an extreme right wing party will come to power in Serbia. It won't, but don't give up!

Just wondering if you accept the result as genuine.
Do you?

Dragan

Dragan you just sound butt hurt about the election result my friend. Don't worry in time you will get over it. Hang on for another 5 years or so and maybe Nikolic will get in then!
(bganon, 11 May 2012 16:50)

Ummm, read below my hypocrite genius friend, I'm no fan of Nikolic. You'll be waiting much more than 5 years before your beloved LDP ever gets powerful. I find it ironic that a proud otporist like bganon is going to celebrate a fraudulent election. Hypocrisy at its best!
Cheers!!
