Socialists seek "guarantees" ahead of runoff

Although I am completely opposed to Tadic and Nikolic, it is absolutely unjust that he can worm his way back into power with a position as high as premier despite the vote he got, in this case he will always hold power to a high degree. It is saddening to see the nature of politics in Serbia.

As I suppose nobody has asked the JS & PUPS supporters if they want a coalition with Slobo’s traitors. So I even doubt Dacic could be elected if only his coalition is to vote for his premiership. To say nothing if other the Serbs are to choose. Say between him and the DSS or SNS leaders. But the reality is that he can blackmail the leaders again like 4 years ago. Because Nikolic will very likely become the next president of the country it would be quite fatal if Dacic links Tadic and form the cabinet. It will only worsen the current worse situation and undermine the countrie’s negotiation positions. So I don’t think Dacic is a stability factor in Serbian politics. His hunger and ambitions may threat the stability Serbia needs. Even predictable Tadic would be a better partner for Toma.
