Congratulation!!!Mr Putin brought Russia back self respect, and people of Russia reworded him the best way they could. He is a strong leader who protect Russia like great leader should. He and Mr Medvedov compliment each others personalities, and together will lead Russia to greatness it deserves. It should be interesting watch them doing just that.

So who do you think would make a good president of Russia? Yeltsin clone?
Such sour grapes. Can't stand the fact that Russians are not stupid like the Serbs and won't self destruct.

Russia is a democracy,US is not!

Proove:

Russia---> more than 5 parties in parliament,US only 2 while all others are ignored

Russia---> media owned diversly by state and by private individuals which offers a wide spectre of opinions,in the US practically all media is owned either by NewsCorp or GE,always with the same agenda while dissidents are being shut down!

Russia---> civil rights are respected, even this chaots who cannot accept that Putin won in a landslide with 66% while they achieved less than 2% and want to form the governemnt are allowed to protest before the Cremlin while in America you have ACTA,Patriot Act,Unlimited Detention which means that the government can detain you as long as it wants wiothout due process, not to mention the systematic terrorizing of protest groups like "Occupy Wallstreets"...

Lets face it,Russia is a democracy while the US i turning into a neofascist empire!
Yes,the US was relatively democratic in the 50s but from the 60s it is slowly transforming into a de facto autoritarian regime...

Vlad is the modern version of Peter the Great who has pragmatically modernized Russia by employing proven models from around the world. What I like about him apart from this, is his steely resolve to hold the west by the short curlies when he feels that it's in his country's interests. This is the kind of multi-polar world we need once again. I feel safer with him in power.

That maybe in your mind like that, but I am saying that he is more like them British chaps that cut loose that Lockerbie Bomber for a few measly barrels of oil.
