As much as I am totally against the US foreign policy, especially on Kosovo, I can tell you that you didn't outsmart anyone. They outsmarted you and used you to get their objective.
Now if you are too stupid to see that, it's your problem, but I would urge you not to repeat that again because it really shows your stupidity.

You give me the impression of being one of those Americans who believe Michael Moore. last I checked, your country ranks as one of the most unpopular in the world. pity that, I am actually a big fan. thanks for recognizing our independence, you're still number 1 in our eyes. as for you personally, may I recommend Julia Gorin's blog, it has a lot of conspiracy theories on which you can feast ad infinitum. p.s. how does it feel to be outsmarted by uneducated Albanians into bombing our enemies?

"... several hundred million euros has been lost when the Stabilization and Association Agreement (with the EU) was signed,"
Yes, the customs receipts fell, meaning prices either fell for the consumer or Serb companies had greater profit. This is as good as a tax cut for the consumer (in the first case), or a source of additional tax revenue (in the second). "
(Amer, 1 May 2012 23:30)
Exactly. But one good thing: It seems that Kostunica at least noticed by now that it's a (tax/importd duty) loss only. Before, his (propaganda) statements have been like 'Serbia is financing the EU' or 'the current government gave xxx Millions to the EU by unilaterally implementing the SAA in advance' and similar nonsense.

Too bad for Serbs they didn't implement this policy from 1990 onwards. Instead, they lost it all! Youre a day late and a dime short Kostunica. You're mentioning this policy as if there is some other policy that Serbia can implement like war with its neighbors. Serbs saw what fighting their neighbors brought them....a much much smaller Serbia and international isolation. Kosova was the last nail in Serbia's coffin. Thanks Serbs.

In your wild dream, Serbia is isolated; In reality, more than half of UN members support them. On internet, overwhelmingly majority of people all around the globe voluntarily support Serbia too. You don't know it or you pretend or deny it?
As another poster, most likely another outsider like myself, has said, "....you should wait till the bill came to mail".
The only thing Serbs have done wrong is that they were too naive and believed "Unity and Brotherhood". When they emerged as victor after the two bloody world wars, they should have finished you for once and all: let you pack and back to Albania.

This same argument was raised in the Czech Republic (by the opposition party) before the country joined the EU, but the government there produced the figures, and the amount of customs revenues lost was tiny compared to the economic benefit. For the life of me I can't understand why the government here doesn't simply refute such silly claims. Letting such statements go unanswered merely raises the overall level of suspicion and distrust in the country. Facts can have a calming effect, more governments should try using them.

Not being in the EU or military alliances (NATO), and protecting Serbian interests. Hell I don't know why you hope he wins, that would certainly mean artillery shells raining down on Pristina one day, albanians like yourself wouldn't be laughing then would they.

interestingly enough it wasn't until serbia's neighbours cried for foriegn help that they were able to even push back the serbian miliatary. to me it doesn't sound like the neighbours did the fighting, as much as it sounds like their hired bouncers did. and wait until that bill comes in the mail.
