am not a fan of KLA nor the syrian oposition becasue I dont know anything abt them, but how come that Serbia is always on the side of dictators?
The last time when Serbia or Yugoslavia supported a democratic movement was in 1968 and 1981 in Chekoslavakia and Poland and this thanks to Tito not to serbs.
Since 1990,Serbia is supporting communists in Russia,Belausia,China,Venezuela dictators in Middle East,Far East and Cuba.
Assad may be bad but can u give at least to opposition the benefit of the doubt?Or just go and say what Russia and China says?
Do you guys what to be West or East, because I think you like the benefits of West(such as freedom of speech and movement, but you are with the same people who are denying their people the very basic human rights.
(Mirel from Albania, 27 April 2012 16:18)

There is an old Arabic saying – the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Secondly, the US of A brought Assad senior to power in Syria and Saddam Hussein in Iraq. Thirdly, the west, led by the US, has supported more dictators than even the Soviets. These are historical facts that you can find out for yourself. Look at the Middle East and South America and Africa. In fact the west supported the South African apartheid regime for decades (it was the commies that supported the blacks). The oppositions in this Arab spring movement of late are all supported by the US, even Israel is not for Assad being removed as they know that a fundamentalist group will take over; also the so called opposition is very small although the free press presents it as a large movement.
The west is finished as a power in the true sense of the word and is in decline both f financially and militarily and with two major losses in Iraq and Afghanistan there is no turning back from this slide. What you are witnessing is “a dying beast’ in the last throngs of death in the hope of a miracle to revive its fortunes. The emerging powers are Russia, China, India and Brazil and I can tell you that neither has much love of the US or its friends. As far as living in the west and its benefits watch out this summer as the full effects of tight budgets come into full swing and civil unrest starts in Europe and the US.
Where were the human rights movement when Abu Grahid was disclosed? The west uses human rights when it’s to their advantage, but you do something to endanger their system then human rights do not exist. Freedom of speech is a myth like freedom of press. Yes the west has gone a step further then the old Communists in that they allow you to “speak’ as long as you do not endanger the system. Its smoke and mirrors. Money has kept the lid on the po, but treh money has run out.

The AP reported that Amar Abdulhamid, "an activist in exile", said that "an example of a country emerging from a nightmare and appearing as a state" can be inspiring for Syria's "dissidents".

What? He cannot be talking about Kosovo, because it is 'an example of a desperate black hole with a disputed legal status and paradise for the drug mafia emerging from a country' :)

"...KLA called terrorist group by the Serbian governement..." Of course they will be called like that. Bashar is doing the same as Milloshevic....it is tipical dictator's language.

Look what is happening to "peaceful" Vojvodina....still under Serbia....and they lost their chance for ever...

Is there already a Facebookpage "Serbs supporting Asaad" like the last one with Comical Ghaddafi?

Regarding Asaad, in 1-2 years he will share same fate like Ghaddafi or Ben Ali. Wishing the freedom loving people of Syria all good for liberation from that fascist regime around the Baath Party.

well, my dear k-albanian friend "kenny" ...you´re either the best in ignoring facts, if you write something like that above, or you are simply a rather ineffective troll.

if there is something for sure, then it is that the Albanians aren´t those to be asked for help.

I´d say your US-masters have told you to play host to some other servants of the US. that´s all.

but with your comment, you made me smile though. thanks for that one, dude!

Well, they certainly asked for help from the best!
Amazing, how a young state like Kosovo already is helping in international crisis regions to get rid of dictators and killers.
I hope they pay them back with the recognition, as soon as Assad leaves for good or joins the likes of Hussein, Ghaddafi and Milosevic.
In the meantime, thanks Brunei Darussalam for the recognition!

2. When you start to lose claim Al-Assad is committing genocide and that tens of thousan....No...Hundreds of thousands are being slaughtered.

3. Start the ethnic cleansing and organ harvesting of everyone and everything that does not support your cause.

4. When you have your arses kicked cry for NATO to intervene so you do not get wiped off the face of the Eart......Oh wait, they cant...NATO has been blocked!

One of the most successful guerilla movements? are you freaking kidding me??? I didn't realise it was a competition as to how big a power a guerilla force could get on side, and the hiding behind them like cowards, because the KLA would certainly win that award. I guess the Syrian 'rebels' will begin to start harvesting organs and selling them on the black market...

Russia supported Milosevic yet in the end he ended up in the Hague. Russians today are supporting Assad, and Syrian people tired of his dictatorship want to know how to kick him out. When Russia starts supporting you, your end is near.

US is supporting the rebels who are extreme Islamists. That much is evident. All we have to do is ask how the Christians of all the countries which rebels America supported are doing.
Naturally they would use the same formula.

Advice from KLA? I always wondered where were those 20 000 + fighters that Hasim Taci was talking about before war, they were nowhere until NATO arrived. But even as a serb i respect thousands of KLA fighters that were brave enough to fight.

The Kosovo Liberation Army must rank as one of the most successful guerrilla movements in modern history. In the nineteen months following its first public appearance, the KLA had all but fulfilled its aims - having managed to subcontract the world's most powerful military alliance to do most of its fighting for it. After all, it hardly matters how the Serbs were ejected from Kosovo, what matters is that they have been booted- and if it had not been for the existence of the KLA they would still be there. On 9 June, NATO and Yugoslavia signed what was called the Military-Technical Agreement in Kumanovo in Macedonia. This amounted to an effective Serbian capitulation. Ironically, it had been at the Battle of Kumanovo against the Ottoman Turks in 1912, that Serbia had regained Kosovo, lost to them some five hundred years earlier. Enjoy your "victory" Serbia:)
