Is incredible what you have to read in this forum!!!. Mihai. Stopping a conflict does not mean to erase the identities. Whith that mentality the balkans will be an unstable region forever.

What you have to do is to respect the neighbours, and that must be applicated to all the balkan peoples.

Ironically, despite all the comments that this article has generated, it is almost entirely about Romania and says very little about the Balkans. VR either didn't spell out how he believed that conflict would be brought to a halt or it has not been reported. Knowing this gentleman as I do, I suspect that it was just the usual hollow rhetoric.
