The increase in Kfor troops is to be used to prevent the illegal local elections from taking place in N. Kosova. Serbia can't seem to be able to do it, but NATO can. However, the Kfor troops are there with Serbia's blessing. And, for good measure, there will be an American assault ship in the near by Albanian port of Durres.

Right so we have:

1. 700 extra German/Austrian soldiers arriving
2. One of USA's top special forces in Albania
3. We have Albanian (Kosovan) special forces deployed in the Macedonia/Kosovo border
4. USA embassy in Macedonia which is located in the Albanian side Skopje, has asked a large number of its staff to relocate to Kosovo!!!!

In addition to the extra 700 Kfor troops to be stationed in North Kosova, the Serbs are being sent a strong message from the USA with the arrival of a U.S. assault warship at the Albanian port of Durres. The reason Kfor Commander Erhard Drews is not interested in the local elections in N. Kosova is because Belgrade has deemed them illegal and the results, if any, would be disqualified.

This is not the country we have any allegiance to, it is an illegal entity with constitutional judges having no power anymore and illegal "new" constitution. For me that orange "country" has less legitimacy than your Kosovo Republic and the current government should be tried for high treason the least. 20 glorious years in Vác prison for Orbán sounds about right for me.

As for the E.U. and NATO: the real challenge for them is IMO much less what is happening outside than how to stop an E.U. and NATO member country running in the direction of Adolf Hitler amok. If they can't do that, they are not worth to keep around.
