Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić says resolving the issue of refugees and IDPs will help advance the process of regional reconciliation and put an end to enmity.

Albanian farmer logically if the Kosovo Albanian (or any) authorities show respect (and lets face it a bit of investment or 'financial incentive') then in 60 years your scenario will not happen.
The main reason why local Serbs/ Croats/ Albanians etc rebelled in the first place is because they felt they did not have the same opportunities as the dominant people in their area of former Jugoslavija.

Why should anyone believe that this Serb community in about 60 years is not going to demonstrate, block the roads and start another trouble asking for them to join Serbia, just like in late 80s and early 90s, and a lot of other innocent non Serb people die. We have seen this in Kosovo, Bosnia and Croatia before, and we can see it right now in Republica Serbska and in Mitrovica in Kosovo.

Yes, they are Serbs but they don't belong in Serbia. Their homes and lives are elsewhere and their property is elsewhere too. They deserve to be able to go back to their homes and resume their lives or do you think that their homes, jobs and lives should belong to someone else now because they moved in to their homes?

Because it is not up to Serbia to give them their property back but up to the governments of the countries they were ethically cleansed from.
Go and tell those government how bad they are. Maybe you agree with them and want to blame the wrong guy.

it is true that the serbian government has done little to nothing to help these refugees. it is certainly evident that numerous years of sanctions and devestated infrastructure have caused hardships for the state of serbia. these hardships have been pushed down to its population, both normal and displaced refugees.
however, they are refugees, who deserve to go back to their homes. it shouldn't be placed solely on serbias shoulders to take the brunt of the problems caused by these massive numbers of refugees. perhaps the nations that no longer wish their former citzens to come home to should have fairly offered a compensation package for the loss that these people faced (in all cases, all countries and all ethnicities). perhaps it would be a different tone if croatia, bosnia and kosovo paid retribution to the displace ethnic serbian refugees, and if serbia, bosnia and kosovo paid for the displace ethnic croatians, and if croatia, serbia, kosovo paid for the etnhic bosnias compensation.
this simplistic approach is closest to fair.

Your previous governments tried to expand Serbian territories into west and south-west Balkans. Did that plan backfired and now you want international community to donate to resettle this people?
How about the millions displaced abroad and international community is still taking care of them.

13 years have past since the last war.
8 years after the last exodus of refugees and IDP's from Kosovo.
Why does Serbia have the biggest refugee and IDP population in Europe? What has your government done to solve this?

600.000 refugees is a critical mass of voters, but do not expect mr. Jeremis that you can get any of their votes. Simply too much time has passed where their problems have not been solved, and you simply thought of them on the margins of your expensive activities. Give me a break, the Serbian government thinks about refugees only in two occasions: 1. when they need positive points from the international community, 2. when they need votes during campaigns. This Donors Conference is a decoy for what Proper Governments from the former Yugoslavia should be doing, and that is to take NATO to Court and get some real Money, or get some real Self Respect.
All that is said is that the Money should reach a certain amount, but the People want to see the Cheque that does not bounce, before they will believe it.
The NATO War criminals will say that if you demand Justice by then even these crumbs will not be given to you, because it is all Smoke and Mirrors to help Tadic and Company.
The donors Conference was held in Janissary City which is Sarajevo, and it is Tadic’s City, and the rest of the refugees like Europe’s Unemployed can beg for crumbs.
