I vote all Germans & Americans to leave Kosovo for good. We will never never never accept biased intervention. They haven't managed to take it away. They have just put a large spanner in the works. This is only a point in time and 13 years is not a long time when you look at the history in Kosovo.

We have physical history in Kosovo, sacred sites that are now heavily protected under UNESCO and you won't be able to continue trying to burn away the evidence.

The Albanians who left Albania to migrate to Kosovo have no real history. They changed their family names and their religion. They have no pride nor integrity. Our family trees go back to Kosovo & have proven to be the majority populace throughout history.

We Serbs never gave into a ruler and we never would in the future. Unfortunately for you, you Albanians cannot say the same so all it would take for you to change your views would be another ruling empire. You've proven this in the past.

I'm born in a small village deeply in South of Albania. (near Greece and FYROM).
And there are many toponyms of a slavic origin: Corovoda (cerna) for example. They are also ottoman, greek, roman, and other names and toponyms. The same for archi-
tecture. The Bulgarians stayed for 150 years in alb south east. (just an example).

We, Albanians have our own culture, history, language, ancient places dating BC (Scutarum, Lissus, Epidamnum, Antipathrea...) and we love them.

Let the history in the past, as it is a fragile issue in Balkan, and we share very different opinions due to lack of communication, sharing and discussing them scientifically.

You tried even to bring Serbs from Croatia this was only solution for emberesment you faced in Croatia you failed. Now you are fighting to keep hold od 10% of Kosovo.

From 1389 till 1912 Serbs where never a Majority, Albanians where but lets say they where and from 1912 they are not.

Same situation in Vojvodina you took it from Hungarians and expelled Germans so now its majority Serb should it go back to Hungary? ... If you answer is not why should then Kosovo go to Serbia the moment you return Vojvodina we can talk.

I have always said that there are some Honest Albanians, and an Albanian who wrote a comment has proven this.

I have yet to hear one Albanian comment that the NATO war was based on Lies, and that as an Albanian, he wants more than Autonomy, but less than Independence, but I am sure that there must a few, but they are too intelligent to let anyone know that.

These few truly Honest Albanians will lie to conceal it, and while I cannot agree with Lying, I do understand it, and would probably do the same if I was an Albanian.

All Albanians know that if they Confess to this in a Court of Law, then it would help Serbia receive Compensation from taking NATO to Court, or a 100 Billion Euros out of Court Settlement and if you divide that equally with all the People of the Former Yugoslavia, then would be thousands of Euros for every man, woman, and child in the former Yugoslavia, and Euros do not lose their value as easily as some other Currencies.

The fact is -- Kosovo is lost to Serbia. It was lost more than a dozen years ago. No amount of shouting "ne damo Kosovo!" from the rooftops of Melbourne or Milwaukee will get Kosovo back for Serbia.

The best the citizens of both countries can hope for at this point is a future of good-neighborly relations. All the rest is just empty words and pointless flag-waving.

Serbs will hold parliamentary, presidential and LOCAL elections in north and KPS will be stopped by KFOR to intervene. Then the international community will declare the local elections as illegal and without legal foundations. After few months the same international community will say that for the solution of the problem in north kosova the opinion of the local community needs to be considered and the same elected reps that 2 month before are declared as illegal will be legalized.

Kosova one more time after the Ahtisari plan, bizarre constitution, 6 point plan, the "technical negotiations" and the last * "agreement" will be forced by her friends(???) to accept imposed solutions that she doesn't like.

Any way the question is not about ruling Serbians in Kosovo. The question is are going to change or not the Kosovo borders? For most of people, that question is already answered, but it looks like you guys(Serbian) do not like it. Lets come to ruling, who, whom. If we follow your logic, most of Serbians in Kosovo are ruled by Albanians since majority of them are south of Ibar river. But that is not true because Albanians are not ruling Serbians. They just like to administer them self to Kosovo.
Serbians with 5% of population in all entire Kosovo have 20% of sits in Kosovo parliament. Their rights in Kosovo are more than any other minority in Europe, not to be compared with any minority in Serbia, because will be horrible comparison. End You like it or not they are just another minority in Kosovo.
But continuing with Milosevics policies, will end worse for you Serbians in general, and particularly in Kosovo. Is your choice to be part of Europe or like some state in Africa. Starting from 1989 till now you did just that, is time to open your ayes and change.

Leave this hate behind, move on, learn to tolerate, learn to love, give the younger generations at least a chance, a glimpse of what peace might feel like because sooner or later, as much as we hate our neighbours, they are still our neighbours. We all know what sending reinforcements mean don't we? It means not for a second is the world stupid enough to give Serbs in Kosova breathing room to cause trouble! Reinforcements mean that any interlopers and trouble makers will get smashed before they even have a chance to "fight back". The reinforcements are there to back up ROSU and KPS when they begin smashing ballot boxes, arresting people for illegal activity. The north is going to be covered with soldiers. The local trouble makers will have nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. Get ready to NOT have an election in Kosova. This is a big big test coming up. If Serbs are prevented from voting, it will be a major sign that Serbia has failed in winning Kosova back and a major sign that theres nothing Serbia can do about it. Happy voting! haha

No one wants to burn anything sacred. However, you must realize the Serbs are relative newcomers to the Balkans just as the Turks were. You are and always were a minority in Kosova just as the Turks were. We all know what happened to the Turks. The original inhabitants, the Albanians, have every right to rule Kosova. The legal status of Kosovo is that of a province of Serbia in accordance with UNSC Resolution 1244. I'm assuming you also take the argument that Albanians were descendants of Illyrians, which is not conclusive whatsoever, but then you would have to lay claim to a vast swathe of territory, of which I'm sure your neighbours would not be too pleased with. Come back when you have an argument that is more consistent and less full of holes.

Alright, if thats the case then can you please explain the following:

1. If the Serbs were always a minority in Kosovo, then how come Turkish records indicate they made up 98% of the population in the 15th century, and 65% in the 19th century?

2. If all the churches, monuments and other sites were built by the minority Serbs, then why didnt the Albanians leave anything behind?

3. If the Albanians were the first inhabitants in the Balkans, then why are there no records of them being there until the 11th century?

4. If the Albanians were the Illyrians, then how come the last mention of the Illyrians came in the 3rd century, 700 years before any mention of Albanians?

5. Why are you embarrasing yourself?

Ok. They have a real history and it's wrong to deny a proper existence. I exaggerate because we Serbs have been slowly exterminated with no recourse. We were bombed without UN approval and a known terrorist organisation KLA were taken off the black list purely to fight against Serbs.

Since then hundreds of our monasteries have been burnt to the ground, grave sites desecrated and not a single ethnically motivated murder of Serbians have been solved by the "Kosovo Police".

It's pathetic that Albanians here try to broadcast that Serbians have more rights than any other minority in Europe. It is a mythical legend for Albanian consumption.

Albanians have even tried to rewrite the history books to be taught in Kosovo RE Ottoman Empire. Trying to teach the kids a 'revised' version of our history??

Serbs had been the majority populace since our first monastery was built & Bulgarians empire recognised this and thus integrated Kosovo into our kingdom. The Albanians had only settled in small clans around Kosovo and over time started to grow in population.

The Turks took Kosovo under their rule and because the ALbanians didn't like living under Serbian rule they eventually saw an opportunity to get what they want by siding with the Ottomans. We all know that Albanians in Kosovo changed their religion and their family names and knew this would help them gain status over the Serbs, whilst avoiding land tax for being muslims.

It's now a black hole and the herroin hub of Europe, black market ops and other organised mafia crime.

What we find offensive is that the Albanians in Pristina think they can rule the North and make outlandish statements about Kosovo's statehood and all borders are drawn and will not change again.

Albanians have no place in the North and no place to try and integrate the North into the state (that we do not recognise).

I would like to make peace but far fetched rhetoric from Pristina will be reason enough to never find this peace.

Just the fact there is a statue of Bill Clinton in Kosovo is enough of an insult to never respect anything that is in or comes from Pristina.

All Albanians know that if they Confess to this in a Court of Law, then it would help Serbia receive Compensation from taking NATO to Court, or a 100 Billion Euros out of Court Settlement and if you divide that equally with all the People of the Former Yugoslavia, then would be thousands of Euros for every man, woman, and child in the former Yugoslavia, and Euros do not lose their value as easily as some other Currencies.

We all know what sending reinforcements mean don't we? It means not for a second is the world stupid enough to give Serbs in Kosova breathing room to cause trouble! Reinforcements mean that any interlopers and trouble makers will get smashed before they even have a chance to "fight back". The reinforcements are there to back up ROSU and KPS when they begin smashing ballot boxes, arresting people for illegal activity. The north is going to be covered with soldiers. The local trouble makers will have nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. Get ready to NOT have an election in Kosova. This is a big big test coming up. If Serbs are prevented from voting, it will be a major sign that Serbia has failed in winning Kosova back and a major sign that theres nothing Serbia can do about it. Happy voting! haha

The reinforcements are there to control the Albanians, nothing else.

We have physical history in Kosovo, sacred sites that are now heavily protected under UNESCO and you won't be able to continue trying to burn away the evidence.

You are and always were a minority in Kosova just as the Turks were. We all know what happened to the Turks. The original inhabitants, the Albanians, have every right to rule Kosova. The fact is -- Kosovo is lost to Serbia. It was lost more than a dozen years ago. No amount of shouting "ne damo Kosovo!" from the rooftops of Melbourne or Milwaukee will get Kosovo back for Serbia.

The best the citizens of both countries can hope for at this point is a future of good-neighborly relations. All the rest is just empty words and pointless flag-waving.

We Serbs never gave into a ruler and we never would in the future. Unfortunately for you, you Albanians cannot say the same so all it would take for you to change your views would be another ruling empire. You've proven this in the past.

trizo, I do not know when Albanians gave into a ruler, it looks like you read your own book, made by you, about Albanians history.
Any way the question is not about ruling Serbians in Kosovo. The question is are going to change or not the Kosovo borders? For most of people, that question is already answered, but it looks like you guys(Serbian) do not like it. Lets come to ruling, who, whom. If we follow your logic, most of Serbians in Kosovo are ruled by Albanians since majority of them are south of Ibar river. But that is not true because Albanians are not ruling Serbians. They just like to administer them self to Kosovo.
Serbians with 5% of population in all entire Kosovo have 20% of sits in Kosovo parliament. Their rights in Kosovo are more than any other minority in Europe, not to be compared with any minority in Serbia, because will be horrible comparison. End You like it or not they are just another minority in Kosovo.
But continuing with Milosevics policies, will end worse for you Serbians in general, and particularly in Kosovo. Is your choice to be part of Europe or like some state in Africa. Starting from 1989 till now you did just that, is time to open your ayes and change.

1) she hit her husband to provoce him
2) as she saw provocation worked as planned she started crying "Help me, help me!"
3) then she said "if he mistreated me, I have all rights for our common property" and convinced the others to justify it.

Alright, if thats the case then can you please explain the following:

1. If the Serbs were always a minority in Kosovo, then how come Turkish records indicate they made up 98% of the population in the 15th century, and 65% in the 19th century?

2. If all the churches, monuments and other sites were built by the minority Serbs, then why didnt the Albanians leave anything behind?

3. If the Albanians were the first inhabitants in the Balkans, then why are there no records of them being there until the 11th century?

4. If the Albanians were the Illyrians, then how come the last mention of the Illyrians came in the 3rd century, 700 years before any mention of Albanians?

5. Why are you embarrasing yourself?

Leave this hate behind, move on, learn to tolerate, learn to love, give the younger generations at least a chance, a glimpse of what peace might feel like because sooner or later, as much as we hate our neighbours, they are still our neighbours. And I have to say that Albanians are known for their hospitality and honesty (something the Serbs possess even at a greater and better degree… BUT their politicians, their churches and recently amended constitutions arrogantly denies such truths). Multi-ethnicity and tolerance do not stand a chance with Rankovic and Milosevic.. or maybe not even with Thaci.
We have to think differently to overcome this hurdle. Our yesterdays thinking is never going to solve problems and challenges faced today let alone tomorrow.

But you can't say :The Albanians who left Albania to migrate to Kosovo have no real history. That's not true. Albanians are in their own country and they have their own history like you do. What does it mean "real history"? Such statements are very offending.

Ok. They have a real history and it's wrong to deny a proper existence. I exaggerate because we Serbs have been slowly exterminated with no recourse. We were bombed without UN approval and a known terrorist organisation KLA were taken off the black list purely to fight against Serbs.

Since then hundreds of our monasteries have been burnt to the ground, grave sites desecrated and not a single ethnically motivated murder of Serbians have been solved by the "Kosovo Police".

It's pathetic that Albanians here try to broadcast that Serbians have more rights than any other minority in Europe. It is a mythical legend for Albanian consumption.

Albanians have even tried to rewrite the history books to be taught in Kosovo RE Ottoman Empire. Trying to teach the kids a 'revised' version of our history??

Serbs had been the majority populace since our first monastery was built & Bulgarians empire recognised this and thus integrated Kosovo into our kingdom. The Albanians had only settled in small clans around Kosovo and over time started to grow in population.

The Turks took Kosovo under their rule and because the ALbanians didn't like living under Serbian rule they eventually saw an opportunity to get what they want by siding with the Ottomans. We all know that Albanians in Kosovo changed their religion and their family names and knew this would help them gain status over the Serbs, whilst avoiding land tax for being muslims.

It's now a black hole and the herroin hub of Europe, black market ops and other organised mafia crime.

What we find offensive is that the Albanians in Pristina think they can rule the North and make outlandish statements about Kosovo's statehood and all borders are drawn and will not change again.

Albanians have no place in the North and no place to try and integrate the North into the state (that we do not recognise).

I would like to make peace but far fetched rhetoric from Pristina will be reason enough to never find this peace.

Just the fact there is a statue of Bill Clinton in Kosovo is enough of an insult to never respect anything that is in or comes from Pristina.

Perhaps if France and Germany were given back to Celts, North America to the natives, Ionia to the Greeks your argument would hold water. The legal status of Kosovo is that of a province of Serbia in accordance with UNSC Resolution 1244. I'm assuming you also take the argument that Albanians were descendants of Illyrians, which is not conclusive whatsoever, but then you would have to lay claim to a vast swathe of territory, of which I'm sure your neighbours would not be too pleased with. Come back when you have an argument that is more consistent and less full of holes.
