The reasons for the strike is plentiful, because the Serbs have never had a government that solves problems - they just multiply. My message, to those abused people, is to preserve their health and seize the opportunity that the upcoming elections choose wisely and vote for changes. Always change what is wrong!

Employers holding back wages for months and months at a time seems to be a chronic problem many places. (-and times: it's mentioned in the New Testament in the letter of James) Maybe the government could try the Norwegian solution: there is a government-backed "wage-guarantee fund" that ensures that laid-off workers get the money they are entitled to. No doubt the Norwegian government makes sure it gets its money back in the end, and the same thing could surely be done in Serbia.

Many workers are in strike, they urge the government to help them to bill what they earned. Unfortunately, government does not care for them.

The hunger strikes just want their earned money, nothing more then that, but the government doesn't care at all. And one of the rulling parties is supposed to be socialistic...

The tragedy of this whole situation is that the sense of social responsibility of the state is completely absent. This case reflects the country in general where the government over and over again is deaf to the plees of those in need. This is a stain of the current democrat government that allowed dubious privatisations to even more suspect enterpreneours, who manipulate the lives of their workers for their own profit without any sense of social responsibility. Every case as this is the failure of the current government and underlines the lack of a proper legislative and enforcement.
