bganon is 100% right
these nationalists endorsed the hooligan anarchy, so it is kind of an irony one of their own gets the hooligan 'treatment'
sad very sad

BTW: To all the blinded folks, if it would've been tadic's son wearing a red star jersey he would've been attacked too - point is they had no clue who's son he is, for some reason the football hooligans that support the men in black/white make it in the news the most.

Come on Rocky you couldn't care less about Vucic's son, or the interests of SNS!

But there is a wider point suggested by AF - in the past Vucic and 'patriotic' Serbia have done nothing but condone the activities of football hooligans whether setting mosques on fire, or smashing up Belgrade. This pandering to the hooligan element has emboldened them, making them believe they are untouchable. It was only relatively recently when the media started doing its job (credit to B92 for leading the way) investigating, that the government felt obliged to react more strongly.

I can quite imagine Vucic cursing football hooligans generally now - I wonder if he has the courage to push his party into taking a harder line against hooliganism.

This is shame for government, police and those who are in charge to solve problems with hooligans. It is unsafe and dangerous to attend on sports events in Serbia. Son of mr Vučić use bus like so many others young people in Belgrade and unfortunately they cannot enjoy in everyday life like theirs coevals in regulated countries.

Feel sorry for the lad but in a way it's ironic, considering how often ultra-nationalist parties in Serbia have courted these thugs when it has suited them...

I don't think the hooligans even knew that he's the son of some party official.

Someone needs to put a stop to the anarchy that these so called 'fans' practice. It's unsafe to root for Red Star? Why? Because the _fill_in_the_blank football "fans" call the shots like some sort of North American communist leader now?
