The whole thing is absolutely gross. You are innocent until proven guilty. But if you're a Serb, you're guilty per se. Pathetic and shameful.

Of course Serbia practices that 100%, you never see anyone in Serbia arrested before they have had a trial do you???
I would say you cannot name one country in the world where people awaiting trial are considered innocent and not held either in jail or on bail.
The length of time it has taken to bring this trial to a close is a travesty. They should have never allowed him to manipulate the system with so many delays. Most of his trial should have been done in absentia, so as to speed things up, but then you would have just been on here talking about the injustice of not allowing him to defend himself. One of the ploys of defending yourself, plus gaining access to the internet and advise from his advisors (coconspirators) No one has said he is not a smart man.
But he has had nothing to lose, he knew he was going to spend many many years behind bars and better to be in the Hague than a regular prison so it has been to his advantage to delay as long as possible.

Actually it is more election rhetoric than anything else, but expect more announcements as we get close to the announcement of a verdict. There is no way that "his health" will allow a guilty verdict to be read before elections. I am betting on a minimum of 3 delays on reading the verdict and sentencing due to "health reasons".

Oh no! How unforseen! God forbid the ICTY gets cheated by death again as it did with Milosevic!

Great power justice at its finest. History is the ultimate judge.

I'm only surprised that nobody mentioned (yet) that the innocent hero Milosevic was killed there...

Of course not, it was "suicide", don't you remember?

The Hague is an embarrassment. They are holding Mr. Seselj, yet have not definitively proven anything against him, besides contempt of court. Hell, all of Serbia, a lot of Croatia, and a good deal of BiH has contempt for this legal circus. Imagine, 8 or 9 years to try one man, and still going.

Whether Seselj is guilty of anything or not, this whole farce of so-called 'due process' is an absolute travesty of justice. To incarcerate a man for something he did or didn't say or do for years on end, without any verdict is disgusting and shames the international legal order if there is such a thing. This man hasn't been convicted of anything, yet he sits rotting behind bars. It is obvious that there are many in Brussels, Washington, London, and Belgrade who would rather this man were dead. The whole thing is absolutely gross. You are innocent until proven guilty. But if you're a Serb, you're guilty per se. Pathetic and shameful.

As soon as I read this article, I immediately knew that the first comment will be the usual conspiracy theory about the murderous Hague detention facility. I'm only surprised that nobody mentioned (yet) that the innocent hero Milosevic was killed there...

So right before the judgement is due, I'm sure there will be some moron who tries to argue that this isn't a ploy to finish him off before the judgement. They clearly dont care about even covering it up anymore, here comes assassination attempt number 4!
