Perhaps there were as many "war profiteers" (those who established their careers thanks to the Bosnian war) as there were discredited diplomats, politicians etc.
America put an end to the butchery between Croatia and the Bosniaks, and put an end to the war with the Serbs. One wonders whether any of the various UN, EU, OSCE etc. people felt rather foolish and discredited as a result?

It was not a butchery between Croatia and Bosnians. Serbs started it all against all others who did not want to obey and stay in Jugosalvija.

Lets not forget to add it was the US rep Zimmerman who convinced the Muslim leader to withdraw his signature from the Lisbon agreement. This started the war politically and the Muslim snipers targeting folks in Sarajevo at the begining started the armed hostilities. The end result was a full circle to almost the same division and agreement in Dayton. The only difference 200,000 people of all ethnicities no longer present and animosity that will serve future generations to make the same mistakes and more money for conjac sipping turds miles away.

Yes the US put an end to this episode it started.
