"Exactly, and in some time Albanians will be a majority in Serbia :)"
(icj1, 7 April 2012 22:44)

you know what's really sick about you? is that your actually proud of trying to steal land. You albos are the only ones living in the middle ages. you stand up for every albanian criminal like he's a saint, you defend k-albs attacking churches and bashing old serbs when they are on their own and you guys are in groups of 3+..
I mean, all these crimes your people do and you are proud of it.
Your attitude on here is shocking. you all act like a bunch of heroes you think your comments are making a difference to the Kosovo situation. why dont you open the curtains in your little bedrooms, look outside and realise that your comments will do nothing here. You anger noone but you actually make yourselves look worse by defending all the criminals that are guilty.

Seriously please stop bothering us on this website.. i will admit you guys are annoying.. every article the comments are the same "albania is the best blah blah blah" ok good for you.. enjoy your opinion.
let me ask you all one thing. if a war breaks out how many of you will honestly go and volunteer? i'll tell you now.. none of you.. you're all probably a bunch of nerdy albo kids in western countries acting like hot shots.
Now my comment to this article.. i have no comment. i laughed when i read it because i half expected it. thaci got spat in the face by obama.. shows how "close" albania and america really are lol

I said so much right after the Albanians announced this great meeting. Let me repeat that statement – the old Hilary and another minor official. And boy I certainly wasn’t wrong he also met with Captain numb nuts, Joe Biden, the dumbest homo sapien on two legs in the 21 century.
Now considering it would have only taken a couple of minutes to meet up with Hashish Thaci Obama passed up that chance. In the world of politics this is a snub considering Hashish is a US appointment.
The world is a changing boys, but you Albanians are not listening just flapping your gums as if we were in 1999.
(sj, 8 April 2012 05:54)

I think it was Hashish Thaci that passed up that opportunity after reading your excellent analysis in B92 forums that America no longer counts in the world affairs and is close to collapse. Why waste time with the president of a country that is close to collapsing ?!

More than 4 years have elapsed since Kosovo's illegal UDI
(Leonidas, 6 April 2012 13:14)

Illegal according to the Serbian law ? Well Kosovo can live with that type of illegality LOL

Interesting concept EA. So KiM will include Albania? Now that will make one large province!

isn´t it interesting how quick our dear k-albanian friends are letting their heroes down, just because they seem not to be so glorious winner-types as they wished them to be?

I mean, some K-albanian, I think it was "Ben", if I remember it well, wrote about Mr.Touchy´s limited intellectual capacities! wow.... my dear Ben, you should worry about completely other things, I´d say.

even if you had another Einstein amongst you, you wouldn´t succeed in your stupid greater albanain illusion!

time works for Serbia, and I think all of the relevant factors know that, except the K-albanian internet-experts who are constantly chest-beating on B92´s website.

this is only one little brick in the wall ...and there will be many more. you will lose. and Serbia will prevail.

just a question of time.

and Touchy is unimportant. he will end up behind bars or end his lousy thug-life in the mud of some of Priština´s sideroads... you will need new "leaders" anyway, when the time has come to cooperate with the serbian government.

but the bottomline of this article above is that you can clearly see what you can expect of your k-albanian yellow-press down there in southern Serbia. they announce a meeting between the US-president and the "president" of "kosovaaaah" , ...but in essence it is just a laughable episode in this comedy that you call "independence"...

(ben, 6 April 2012 23:26)

The limited intellectual capacities are a smaller problem than his criminal connections. The problem with a 'departure of Thaci from politics' is: There is not a single honorable politician in Kosovo that has support amongst the people. The biggest opposition are national extremists (comparable to Serbian radicals) hiding behind the name of 'self determination movement'. A real democratic and honorable party leader (like Rugova has been) is missing, nowaday.

A statement released by Thaci's office notes that Biden congratulated him on his courage in making "important decisions which are in the interest of Kosovo".

That's so lame. It's like saying, "nice job breathing".

I bet The Snake is musing some of these lyrics after being brushed off by Obama:

There's somethin happening here.
What it is ain't exactly clear.
There's a man with a gun over there.
Telling me I got to beware.

I think it's time we stop,children,what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down.....

Paranoia strikes deep.
Into your life it will creep.
It starts when you're always afraid.
You step out of line, the man come and take you away.

I think it's time we stop,children,what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down....

There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong.....

It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound...

They are going to your country so that they can ruin that too.
They ruin everything they have any control over. Look at Albania and now look at Kosovo.
So they ruin everything they are a sizable population in if given the chance. Better close border to them now.
As for Serbia, it's too late. Too many already in. Such a shame.

Don't be naive my dear Albanians. The fact that Obama did not meet Thaci is a slap in a face.

The question is why???

Forget the busy week that Obama had. President of US does not agree to meet a foreign PM and then say ‘oh sorry I'm bit tired as I had to visit a primary school this morning, can't meet you’.

In my opinion this is serious warning to Thaci himself that:

1. the fight of corruption and the democratic achievements are not at desirable level (this has most probably been said by Biden);
2. some 'unauthorized' actions such as arrests of Serbian MUP and start of dismantling of Serbian parallel structures, in US is viewed as unnecessary actions that can destabilize the region while US does not need that as it has serious problems in A-stan and soon with Iran (repeated by Clinton and Biden);
3. I don’t want to meet you as that would put a bad light on Tadic’s election campaign and I don’t want to favour Nikolic (Biden and Clinton have explained to Thaci why their boss cannot meet him);
4. meeting you could be abused by the Christian fascists in the upcoming US presidential elections as the case initiated by Dick Marty has not finished;

I hope that Thaci had the wisdom to reject categorically the 2, 3 and 4, but have serious doubts on that.

I am afraid that the KGB and UDB-a’s well planned and executed political assassination of Thaci has succeeded. Thaci’s presence in Bruxels few months ago gave me some hope but it seems i was worng. I’m sure that behind the doors they all sympathise with Thaci but in public international leaders are prudent in shaking his hand.

...after all Thaci has very limited intellectual capacities thus his departure from the politics can and most likely will be beneficial for Kosova... who knowns...

Old jokes from a bankrupt member of Fakelakistan..
Greeco, Albania's economy was increasing the last years, even in harsher years, such as 2008. There is plenty of potential in this country. Starting with tourism and up to energy. There will be a bright future for this country once the remains of communist days and chaos are shackled away. Together with the Turkish allies which economy rockets sometimes with higher percentages than in China, there will be soon a complete change in the Southeast Europe where Fakelakistan can hope that the Olive and Cheese price rises, and of course that the Germans (your most important tourist) forget your shameless and disgraceful insults of your broken people, so that your tourism can do something. I think economic pressure, and political pressure are two different things. If austerity measures are demanded of a nation by world lending organizations, otherwise no more loans, that is quite a different thing from imposing political pressure on a country to act in a certain way. If Greece really bowed to the EU's demands, then it would have recognized an independent Albanian KiM, but it has not, and will not in the future. I think Nicolle and others are mixing up politics and economics. And please, an Albanian from Kosovo lecturing someone on demands from other nations, please.
(ecoman, 6 April 2012 16:02)

Ecoman,
In a perfect world, you might be right, but taking this view right now is incredibly naive. Why do you think the EU and USA (and China, and Russia, and every other large country/entity) spend billions of dollars each year around the world? Is it to make the world a better place and make everyone smile? Nice to think so, but of course not... They spend money to exert (or buy or sometimes coerce) political influence. I am not defending this, mind you, just stating that this is the harsh reality of the world we live in. Economic influence = political influence, and to apply political pressure, economic pressure is often the most convenient tool.

LOL When was the last time he was in Brussels or any other European capital? European leaders don't want to associate with him. He's an embarrasment to be with, which is why Obama didn't want to be with him and Biden didn't want to record the meeting. That was during the times where Fakelakistan was still feasting on a EU aid (funds, subsidies, stealing, etc) comprising around 1/3 Trillion Euro. Now, when we see the Greek economy is contracting back to state where it belongs, more and more Albanians return to their home country, since Albania's economy is growing and growing, while each Fakelaki tries to leaves his "beloved" country, most of them to Switzerland, Germany, etc. where the Fakelaki has already sent his money, leaving Fakelakistan in a mess which must be corrected by German taxpayer money.

I have never read something so hilarious in my life. The fact that Thaci did not get to meet with Obama shows he is not welcome. He met with Clinton and she committed our full support to Kosovo, then he went on to meet with Biden.
Don't know if any of you have focused on the news in the US but the last week has been a very very busy one for Obama.
And then the report that Biden and Thaci met behind closed doors with no press but Tanjug reports "The U.S. vice president also reportedly condemned latest attacks on Serb Orthodox churches and monasteries in Kosovo"
If they met behind closed doors, how would anyone know what was said.
This is pure desperation my dear people, pure and simple.

Comm. Parrisson

"Well-informed sources in Washington say that the fact that the U.S. President has not received the Kosovo prime minister shows that Thaci is not welcome."
That's possible, maybe Obama has enough integrity to refuse to shake hands with a person like Thaci. With access to some old CIA reports, he knows enough about 'carreer' of this gentleman. Or it can simply mean that this fly spot on the map called Kosovo is simply not important enough for the US president.

"I mean four because Greece and Cyprus are one, Cyprus is a town country anyway. "
(EA, 6 April 2012 13:47)
Funny to read these words coming from people from a split-off wannabe 'country' called Kosovo that is not much bigger.
Cyprus: 9,251 km2 , 1,099,341 population
Kosovo: 10,908 km2, 1,733,872 population

"In the meantime Kosovo will use this time to consolidate its democracy and democratic institution to EU standards. Now for that Kosovo does NOT have to ask the four weakest links of the EU. In other words getting ready for EU by fightin crime, corruption and with the continued presence of the EU on the ground as well as KFOR. "
(EA, 6 April 2012 13:47)
It would be desirable if that happens, but I don't believe in it. During the last years, not much has improved according democracy, crime, corruption and EU standards when it comes to Kosovo. In fact, it's just the opposite, the UNMIK organized elections have been much fairer and correct than the faked and manipualted ones organized by 'Pristina authorities'. I simply don't expect any improvement as long as those criminals are in power in Kosovo.

Comm. Parrisson

Yesd, I am very familiar with the allegations that sorround the KLA. Funnily enough, they haven't been proven, not by any credible organisation anyway, but, we'll leave that for now. Let me go back to Thaci for a moment. Mr Marty himself, has not accused Thaci of being privy to this alleged organ snatching. Nor has he said that he benifited himself financially from it. The only thing he has done, is hazard a guess on the laws of probability, basically it goes like this, he was one of the more prominent KLA players therefore he MUST have known. That is all he has said. Now, you can make anything you want out of this, but, it seems Marty has said, with this particular crime, Thaci has nothing to do with it. He did not profit from it, he was not a player in it. So, those who call Thaci an organ snatcher really should think before commenting.
Now, I ask you to watch an interview Jeremic gave to Charlie Rose, where he pressed this issue. Jeremic's own words were that he does not say crimes of this nature occured, but he believes they did. What does this mean? Well, he has doubts in his own minds, which is why he doesn't commit. Not my words, not the words of some powerful Albanian lobby group, no, the words of Serbia's own foreign minister. If he is so sure that these type of atrocities occured, he should not be reserved should he? So make out pof that what you will

Nikolle

pre 12 godina

..but Leonidas, I do not claim that Kosova doesn't take orders. We're really only as independent as the EU and US will allow us, not Serbia though. You seem to believe Greece does not bow to pressure however. Read up news on the current financial crisis that has engulfed your country and see how much it has bowed to EU pressure on austerity measures and then come back and tell me that you do not bow to pressure. Oh, I am not sure how familiar you are with NATO's chain of command, but, all it takes is ONE nation to halt a NATO campaign. In 1999, Greece, in theory, had the power to stop the bombing of what was then Yugoslavia. It did no such thing. Perhaps you want to explain that one to your Orthodox brothers in Serbia and tell them that you really do not bow to pressure. By the way, thanks for sending those troops to Kosova to keep the Serbian army out. we sure love you for it, do not know how Serbs feel however

Since Thaci spent most of his time in Switzerland, it's indeed unlikely that he was involved personally. But for the same reason, you can call Milosevic 'innocent', he never killed anyone in person. But it's unlike that he didn't know about the crimes committed by his army (or maybe he even ordered it). This is likely in case of Thaci, too, having in mind that his mafia clan operated any kind of 'business' (drug, human trafficking, extortion of Kosovo Albanians living abroad to pay some 'tax' for the 'independence fight' and so on) to get money.

I know the end game. As it stands Kosovo can nothing do but ask for recognition and try to convince that the recognition will contribute the peace and stability.

It is a paradox tha the four weakest links of EU are trying to abuse their position. I mean four because Greece and Cyprus are one, Cyprus is a town country anyway.

What I think is going to happen, Serbia will be forced to recognise Kosovo independence before dreaming to join the EU. In the meantime Kosovo will use this time to consolidate its democracy and democratic institution to EU standards. Now for that Kosovo does NOT have to ask the four weakest links of the EU. In other words getting ready for EU by fightin crime, corruption and with the continued presence of the EU on the ground as well as KFOR.

In the meantime Albanian hopefully will make more steady and faster steps to join EU...At present there are not territorial claims at least not yet officially.

The time will tell is Kosovo be accepted in EU as a separate country or joint with Albania. The four weakest links "choice".

We Albanians are very patient and welcome any of the two choices....}}}}

When will Thaci walk in Brussels? Tadic goes there all the time since Serbia is in Europe. Thaci goes to Washington more because he knows Europe wants nothing to do with him and America is his only friend. Too bad even Obama wants nothing to do with him and even Biden yelled at him.

LOL When was the last time he was in Brussels or any other European capital? European leaders don't want to associate with him. He had to run out to Pristina airport just to talk with Merkel who came to Kosovo last year to speak with her own troops in KFOR. He's an embarrasment to be with, which is why Obama didn't want to be with him and Biden didn't want to record the meeting. Better to go only a few times to Washington and be greeted as a statesman than invite yourself to the White House and then get blown off like an ugly date :)

Oh, I am not sure how familiar you are with NATO's chain of command, but, all it takes is ONE nation to halt a NATO campaign.

1. the fight of corruption and the democratic achievements are not at desirable level (this has most probably been said by Biden);
2. some 'unauthorized' actions such as arrests of Serbian MUP and start of dismantling of Serbian parallel structures, in US is viewed as unnecessary actions that can destabilize the region while US does not need that as it has serious problems in A-stan and soon with Iran (repeated by Clinton and Biden);
3. I don’t want to meet you as that would put a bad light on Tadic’s election campaign and I don’t want to favour Nikolic (Biden and Clinton have explained to Thaci why their boss cannot meet him);
4. meeting you could be abused by the Christian fascists in the upcoming US presidential elections as the case initiated by Dick Marty has not finished;

I wonder how many here are actually aware of the fact that Thaci himself was NOT implicated in the organ trafficing allegation. In fact, Mr Marty's own words were that he never said Thaci was involved, only that its highly unlikely he didn't know of it. Now, you can interpret this any way you wish, but perhaps those so quick to smear Thaci (for whom I have very little time) should read Marty's report and his own statement. I watched an interview with Jermeic that he gave to Cahrlie Rose and guess what he said regarding this. His own words were 'We're not saying it happened, we just believe it did', which is a really interesting position to hold. Essentially its the same as me saying to someone 'I'm not saying that you're a murderer, I just believe you are'. I do not have to justidy this opinion, I do not have to prove I marely have to believe it and there's not much you can do about it. So again, those quick to call Thaci an organ steeler, Marty himself, the one who has as of yet not disclosed any evidence has NOT implicated Thaci in this.(Nikolle, 6 April 2012 12:01)

We Albanians are very patient and welcome any of the two choices....}}}}

But it's unlike that he didn't know about the crimes committed by his army (or maybe he even ordered it). This is likely in case of Thaci, too, having in mind that his mafia clan operated any kind of 'business' (drug, human trafficking, extortion of Kosovo Albanians living abroad to pay some 'tax' for the 'independence fight' and so on) to get money.

interesting, I agree with Kengur, someone who I haven´t noticed before in here, but that´s just what I think too.

@EA, the k-albanian dreamer: you will have to be patient, very patient, because Serbia will rise again. and you will be let down by your "friend", the " one and only global super-power" ..as one rather simple k-albanian once has called the US-occupiers in southern Serbia.

yours is it to wait. you can do nothing more than to sit by and watch, since the acting parties are foreign powers and Serbia. you k-albanian, are only objects of our political actions, we are subjects. perhaps you won´t understand the difference between them, but ...I can tell you, all will be fine. and you will peaceful with Serbs in Serbia, or you will leave for Albania, if you do not wish to coexist with others.

that will be your choice, and the US won´t have the means to prevent that.

it is only a question of time. and Serbia is there, waiting for the hour to come.

Serbia will prevail.

1. the fight of corruption and the democratic achievements are not at desirable level (this has most probably been said by Biden);
2. some 'unauthorized' actions such as arrests of Serbian MUP and start of dismantling of Serbian parallel structures, in US is viewed as unnecessary actions that can destabilize the region while US does not need that as it has serious problems in A-stan and soon with Iran (repeated by Clinton and Biden);
3. I don’t want to meet you as that would put a bad light on Tadic’s election campaign and I don’t want to favour Nikolic (Biden and Clinton have explained to Thaci why their boss cannot meet him);
4. meeting you could be abused by the Christian fascists in the upcoming US presidential elections as the case initiated by Dick Marty has not finished;

Deals that carry over from government to government.. part of policy. Thaci is going to lose his support in the long run.
