I'm just curious if anyone else saw this ridiculous headline anywhere in the media today? It is as follows:

"US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday welcomed Kosovo's progress toward becoming a member of the European Union, saying the young nation had the full support of Washington."

So Clinton is who? Oh I forgot she is always mistaking her authority and jurisdiction.

Does she really think the EU cares what Washington think about Kosovo joining the EU? haha

Kosovo to join the EU in 3040...

There have been concessions made by Belgrade, too many in my opinion, but recognition, never.
(ecoman, 4 April 2012 14:18)

I agree... Belgrade never recognized the dream state of Kosovo. The only Serbs who recognized that the state of Kosovo exists for real were the North Kosovo Serbs with their referendum (assuming, of course, that they were not hallucinating and holding referendums about dreams).

Very democratic of him. Good lesson to other politicians in the area, i.e. the 22-year "reign" of " king" Berisha in Albania.

What is your problem of NON serb writing here at B92....EA
I have no problem with anyone writing anything, anywhere. I spent most of my life in the USA, and appreciate freedom of the press and expression. But, I do have a problem with people like you, that lecture me on freedom of the press, and a democratic society, yet that does not exist in the Kosovo* you live in (maybe reside in). Please tell me where, and on what Albanian Kosovo site, can we have these discussions. We can't, because the ruling ex-KLA terrorists sitting in ruling chairs in Pristina will not allow it - no criticism. That is my problem with Albaniacs here - when your "Newborn" extends the same rights to me, as a Serb, then I will respect your presence here. Until then, your voice has little meaning to me. You are getting a free ride.

What is your problem of NON serb writing here at B92....

"You wouldn't need to come to this site anymore carrying on about how Serbia is this, and Serbia is that, and Serbia must this, and Serbia is unfair, blah, blah, blah.

I doubt you own B92.....)) Do you understand what does it mean a free, democratic press mean?

Of course you don't....you would should all non Serbs writing in here...if you had a chance.

I very much doubt that B92 is designed only for Serbs. If you can prove me that is not the case, I assure you Serbs will be talking ONLY TO EACH OTHER in English....)

So do NOT make yourself a fool.

Last thing give yourself a break throwing mud against Kosovo institutions, KLA and Albanian leaders in Kosovo. If you have any evidences take it to the Serbian prosecutors....or you do not trust them...

EA and Agim, give it a rest, please. Why do you focus so much on Serbian matters, when you have a lot bigger problems in Pristina. Kosovo* has terrorist drug dealers in office, and you guys criticize Tadic, unbelievable.

Agim, if Serbia recognized an independent Albanian Kosovo, it would be news all over the world media, but they have not. There have been concessions made by Belgrade, too many in my opinion, but recognition, never. Besides, wouldn't your life become boring then? You wouldn't need to come to this site anymore carrying on about how Serbia is this, and Serbia is that, and Serbia must this, and Serbia is unfair, blah, blah, blah. Worry more about improving your Kosovo* the way it is, recognition will not clean up the filth and corruption there, nor will it put more food on your tables. You should "recognize" first that your politicians are terrorist KLA drug dealers first, then worry about what Belgrade does second.

"cut his mandate short and will be a candidate in the presidential elections on May 6"

So is this a way to get more years of presidency in the long run? Stepping down months early so he can get another term? That doesn't see legal. He's had many years in power and he has tanked the economy and put Serbia in much more debt. Serbs need to blast him, his party and allies out.
One must remember that when Serbs voted his coalition in in 2008, that certain countries took that as a green light to award Kosovo "independence" - that Serbs doing what the "international community" wants encourages them to keep doing negative things to Serbia as they see Serbs aren't rebelling or looking the other way. It's only when Serbs start seriously giving up on the EU that the EU starts dangling more carrots and incentives.

"We will not recognize Kosovo," he stressed and added: "I am still the president today and tomorrow".

You already did, but just don't want to admit it and put on paper officially. I don't blame you.

"We will not recognize Kosovo," he concluded and added: "I am still the president today and tomorrow".

Tadic will be another failed Serbian polititian.

What Serbia really needs someone with guts....
